This is 2021 bro. I don’t even know where I would go or if I’m going to be chased off by grandma with a rifle.

What does the year have to do with farmer's markets?
Well, maybe this. It's easier to find a farmer's market than ever.
If you don't want to find a farmer's market just say it instead of making up reasons that don't exist.

He made sure to point out he wasn’t even talking about farmers markets. He was talking about buying straight off the farm.

As for farmers markets I’ve never had the time to keep track first Saturday of the month or whatever. I guess I can drive through Clanton on the way to the beach and buy a jar of peaches from a trailer on the side of the road but that’s about it. Until then canned Dole peaches it is.

Sounds like Lanier is trying to derail a perfectly good thread where Auburn fans are yelling at each other and calling each other names over the vaccine.

The long term effects of the vaccine are yet to be proven. What has been proven is overweight and unhealthy people are dying from it. America is terribly out of shape. Lose weight, eat better, and exercise. The body’s natural immunity is the best vaccine.

frick forcing it on people. Get it if you want, don’t if you don’t want it.

I don’t understand your point. There are outliers for every disease. Also, kids under 12 can’t be vaccinated anyway so not sure how it would be different for these poor babies.

I think people should get vaccinated, but our overall unhealthiness as a country has certainly made us more susceptible to this virus.

I agree the health is a contributing factor, but the info is available where countries considered healthier have also struggled with the virus. The stress on the health care system in many lower vaccinated areas of this nation should concern us all.

I enjoyed the thread.

because a babies immune system is supposed to be strong enough to fight off viruses........that's the point.

The talking points were.......

young healthy people aren't getting the virus. It is an old person disease.

This variant is killing young people. We had a perfectly healthy 23 year old pass away from covid around here a few weeks ago.

Our HC is as fit as anyone could be. He caught it. It may not be something that causes him to go through a rough time, but he may pass it along to somebody who doesn't handle it as well as him. That is the point that so many people have tried to make.........but some people continue to ignore it.

ETA we had a woman here who needed cancer surgery a few weeks ago. She had to go to Iowa because all of the hospital beds are taken up in this area....mostly from covid. It is the strain that covid is causing on the health care system that is so troublesome.

Saw on the news the other night where a 13 year old girl died from Rona. They showed her picture. She was in no way obese -- in fact, she was a bit thin. (Do not know her vaxx status, but I assume she was unvaxxed because of her age).

Anyone heard lately the stats of "false positives" regarding testing. Big problem months ago...don't know if that has been straightened out or, just doesn't further the story so, isn't being reported. Positive Covid test but asymptomatic - could it still be bad testing?

CDC very quietly announced they are pulling the PCR test…it cannot distinguish between flu, COVID, or a cold. No wonder flu vanished last year yet COVID was rampant.

A friend who works for a biotech company with many of these tests told me last year that test was very unreliable and there were probably a very high number of false positives or popping positive for Covid when it might have just been a common cold.

I don't know who told you that but they're either lying or an imbecile.

They're moving on to a multiplexed test now to save a step, that's the reason for dropping the SARS specific PCR.

Limes are fresh fruit. I eat fresh fruit to fight off the virus and for overall healthiness. Stay home, eat plenty of fresh fruit, drink plenty of fluids

Its my plan

I am sure this had nothing to do with it...

According to data released by the CDC earlier this month, influenza mortality rates were significantly lower throughout 2020 than previous years.
There were 646 deaths relating to the flu among adults reported in 2020, whereas in 2019 the CDC estimated that between 24,000 and 62,000 people died from influenza-related illnesses.

Uhhh, NO.

The "talking point" was that young, healthy people were catching the virus and were either experiencing no symptoms, or were simply experiencing general flu-like symptoms. Quick recoveries for the vast majority and very very few deaths. Basically nothing to suggest that this was a "close the world down, impart totalitarian control" type situation.

The fact that you can find 10, 20, even 100 "recollections" about how a 20-something year old died from COVID does NOT change the actual narrative in any way. Your entire basis of perception has been warped. You want me to give you an example? Long before COVID, the flu would kill dozens of "healthy teens" every single year. They had articles written about them too, but there was no mass hysteria - in fact, no one really gave a shite about flu deaths period, despite the fact that they occurred like clockwork every single year. Now, someone's wife who knows about a teen that died in her hospital from COVID is supposed to be some "smoking gun" about how this is some out of control situation? You've been terrorized to the point that you don't know up from down.

Here's some reading material from ~3 minutes of Googling:

Viruses kill people. Even young people and children. Absolutely none of this is unexpected or out of the realm of what we know as a possibility. Yet for the first time in human history, we are supposed to operate as if we are to lock society into a cage, until what? COVID disappears (hint: it wont, and cant at this point)?

Here is an interesting breakdown of the CDC numbers for the deaths caused by COVID. I know obesity was thrown around and yest it is a large factor but there are other surprising factors mentioned and you may find it interesting that out of all the US deaths only 740 didn't have any connecting conditions...
CDC Data is surprising

During the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic in Mexico, doctors prescribed ailing patients to drink a mixture of tequila, lime, and salt as a remedy, therefore making tequila a medicinal spirit. Tequila is made from 100% agave, which is known to help reduce bacteria and relieve sore throats. Pair this with a powerhouse Vitamin C carrier such as freshly squeezed lime juice, and you might be able to say goodbye to those gargles and throat sweets in no time! Or for those feeling feverish and restless, Tequila can be used in a hot beverage with lemon and honey to help relax the body and rid it of toxins.

The 1918 flu pandemic killed 1 to 3 percent of the world's population, some 20 to 50 million people. If not for tequila, the human species would have gone extinct before we had a chance to really frick up the planet!

They literally tried to spin how hundreds of thousands of yearly flu cases magically disappeared and didn't occur in 2020 as: "oh, everyone wearing masks and social distancing really stopped people from catching the flu!"

Really? Eradicating the flu was THAT easy? We just had to get everyone to re-use and improperly wear cloth masks and makeshift fabric t-shirts over their faces and the flu just disappeared? The same flu that yearly vaccination could only somewhat control LOL?

And people actually eat this shite up with a smile on their face. Literally zero appetite to question anything. Not one person has seemingly explained how as soon as COVID appeared, all of a sudden not only did virtually no one die from the flu, but in fact seemingly everyone somehow became IMMUNE to the flu .
