And it looks like we may add 2024 as another new starting QB.

I don't see it. I think Thorne will be the starter and will play well next year. I think the consistency of not bouncing quarterbacks in and out will help a ton from the get go and another offseason getting ready. Unless a superstar transfers in the spring, I don't see anyone beating out Thorne for the starter spot next September.

The point he’s trying to make is that we have a very clear track record of not signing and developing qb’s out of high school going all the way back to the end of the Cox era. The qb’s we’ve signed out of high school were never developed and left the program which has forced us to live and die by the transfer qb. If you can’t attract and keep top qb talent, you’re not going to attract top tier wr talent either. The trickle down effect shows up in wins and losses and performance on the field which again effects recruiting. I’d bet my house that if that list consisted mainly of guys we signed and developed out of high school the program would look drastically different and the Alabama, Georgia and LSU series wouldn’t be lopsided and filled with blow out after blow out losses.

Ashford is a better runner? Since when? All I've seen in the past few games he has been on the field, is getting outrun by the edges .....His surprise in the SEC is exhausted .....

Yeah, I don’t know of any other QB as bad as Throne getting this kind of love from some of the fan base. They want to bitch about Ashford being around 50% completion, and then say someone with a 31% completion as “playing well”.

Freeze is not going to start Throne next year if he can help it.
