70% chance of rain. Helps or hurts? I say helps.
Can see it now.. Auburn takes down LSU in "Rain Game". Cigars go unlit because inability to strike a match in post game monsoon.

We will have to run the ball well in order to win this game. 120 yards on the ground will not cut it. Can we run on LSU. They have had trouble in the past stopping the qb run game. How will we play on the road in that crowd on O? This could be a place where "check with me" on the sideline plays to our advantage.
We have to pressure Mett to win. Luck for us he is a statue and cannot run. We should be able to stop LSU's run game if Holland does not play much. Press man on the WRs and make Mett win the game. This will be the first game where it is quite when we play defense, that could help us.
Auburn wins 28-24.

What? As I've told y'all before, I'm only negative when it comes to recruiting. I think AU will win every game we play before it starts.

this explains your negativity then... need to temper those expectations and put things into perspective... the odds of us going down there and winning this weekend are slim. Obviously anything can happen, but thinking we're gonna win is setting yourself up for getting pissed.

to be honest, it's what being an internet fan is all about... getting pissed.
even when we were winning the NC, you could go to any AU message board and find constant b*tching about the defense... it's like some people can't have perspective and enjoy the ride...

This is not true
UF- Driskell - 1 yard vsLSU - 400+ on the year
USCe- Shaw - -1 yard vs LSU- 400+ yards rushing on season past 2 years
Texas A&M- Johnny Manziel- 27 yards vs LSU - 1400 yards on the season
Clemson - Tahj Boyd- 22 yards vs LSU- 500+ on season
Ole Miss- Bro Wallace- 49 yards vs LSU- 300+ on season
Then none of the QBs this year were running threats nor put up statistics worth noting in the run game

Boykin for TCU is a running threat, but he didn't play the whole game against them.
Most of Wallace's yards came on one long TD run IIRC... granted, sack yardage is included in these totals.

LSU is definitely susceptible to the run this year. Despite neither TCU or UAB demonstrating a resonable passing attack plus being up big against UAB, both UAB and TCU have gained over 100 yards rushing
I think the biggest exposure will come in the passing game as LSU's secondary hasn't seen the talent that we have.
A busted coverage will lead to a touchdown. We just can't fricking drop or overthrow when that happens.
