Yep and our PTB blew it just like with Gus. Just can’t do the public neg talk they do and expect any positive consistency. Either do it or stfu!

Every yr with Gus it was speculated to be his last and last winter was a big ole crap show. Even if we have a super yr , I don’t see how this turns out to be a good partnership

Someone said the money was there but Gogue would only approve 10 mil and the new guy won’t be a problem.

I think it's an open question as to whether recruiting predictions like this could actually work. For now I'm just considering it an interesting curiosity to follow.

If Auburn had a half arse decent coach who could learn to suck up to boosters they prolly have

Parker, English, Cobb, Osborne, Faulk, Ramil, Joiner, Love, Nelson, Hughley, Mcelderry, Thurman, Horton, Lewis Carter and maybe others. But most of these guys don’t see Harsin lasting the year and won’t waste their time.

In news no one cares about but me .. the WR I wanted us to offer committed to ECU (wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't stick though). Still hoping we offer at some point, especially now that Poole is committed.

Seriously maybe Auburn is playing the long game. Everyone else gets put on probation for illegally recruiting with NIL and enticement. Everyone hit with 40 scholly loss and Bama and UGA with 40 5 stars go against our 85 3 stars. Might be an interesting game if we get them at home probably still crap the bed away.

Zion Agnew, thats the fella 33? Nice hand strength and positioning on 50/50 balls. Good size, decent speed, who knows why we did not offer.

If Harsin is fired this year, I hope they do it quick and have a great replacement in place way before early signing day and maybe they can flip a few of these players.

Are some of you not going to acknowledge the impact, the enormous impact of NIL on recruiting???? You think a poor kid from the hood with a baby, seven siblings, and a mom working two jobs.... would rather play for 100 grand a year...or a good cruitin coach???? Some of you are so obtuse its laughable. Nah its not the 100K its because he missed some stupid practice, or bbq, you people actually believe that???????

These kids have superagents fellas. Let that sink in, let that sink in. And this nonsense about we sign them, then we will talk about money, right thats the way I go into any business venture.

Its true they cant pay them til they sign, but they can sure give them a verbal understanding, and no school representative would back out of it lest they would never be trusted again.

Heck, at this point Harsin should be suing for breach of contract, he needs them to guarantee him at least 5 mil in NIL money or he stops even bothering to recruit.

But if Harsin leaves, I sure hope we get that Texas coach. He took the most savvy business family in football, the Manning's and convinced Arch to sign off nothing but his cruitin skills, boy I tell ya thats somethin else.

Are you trying to say AU has never been a leader in paying our football players or going after kids who want money?

Keep thinking it’s only NIL. Like I said when it was passed or allowed or whatever with NIL. When we start bidding for and having to pay for players is when my interest will be gone.

Yeah yeah I know players have always been paid but we are talking like paid paid.

Plus NIL should have nothing to do with recruiting except that if you are marketable that there should be money available. The NCAA made it pretty clear you can not use NIL as a recruiting tool.

Well…. Yes and no… I have tried not to be overly negative regarding FB as of late. Recruiting hasn’t improved nor do I expect a .500 season this fall. Anyone with common sense could see the writing on the wall last fall. The shenanigans of winter only solidified the future outcome we are all expecting. JABA as always

If he’s not then I am. You need to give me 10 bodda gettas and remember the Auburn creed before going further in the conversation.

I believe thats one of the huge misconceptions of NIL. Yes it makes it valid to sign sponsorship agreements, and some kids will like Arch or Bryce, but the vast, vast majority will be personal services contracts or some other contractual vernacular...paying to play. You have an understanding you will be paid "when" you sign to play.

And given there are no hard and fast rules regarding this, the A&Ms of the world are lapping for home while we twittle our thumbs.....and blame the coaches.
