god forbid anyone think white is not a top 5 QB nationally.

Yeah, I think the previous discussion revolved around Scout's ranking of White as the #26 QB, and the very large discrepancy between them and the other services. But I suppose the exaggeration is for dramatic effect?

Auburn Rivals is giving Mike Farrel hell over Sean White's ranking. What is wrong with all those crazies? Who cares what he is ranked? He's either gonna be a stud at AU or he won't the ranking doesn't matter.

I could not care less about his ranking but it would be nice for the kid to get rewarded for all his performances and hard work. I'm not going to bitch to anybody about it though and I think rivals had a right to do what they want. I could not be more impressed with Sean White at this point.

I think he should be ranked higher but the way they are acting on Rivals is embarrassing. I watched the UA game and Sean White really surprised me.

No recruiting ranking is going to change his collegiate performance.

Those are the same people that fought to have Jake Holland given a 4*...

I think being underrated sometimes provides extra motivation and puts a chip on a guys shoulder but being ranked higher certainly doesn't make anybody better than they are.

So by that logic, they should actually be fighting for him to be rated lower

If this is how most see it then I did a poor job with my argument. The point of my argument is a poster was slobbering all over that complete steaming POS site at Scout by defending them. They are a complete joke to recruiting and it completely baffled me that anyone would defend them.

(And no, strip club is not an acceptable answer)

Columbus used to be a half-way decent alternative for strip clubs until they went all Baptist and passed laws so the women couldn't get nekkid anymore.

That was a huge blow to AU recruiting.

(I keed.)

(Kinda.)

(P.S. I provided illegal extra benefits to a group of Auburn players at The Platinum Club in Columbus way back circa 1996 or so.)

Did Rashaan Evens get another crystal ball to AU??

ALso I seen the video of Braden Smith benching 515 3 times. He does it relatively easily, pretty amazing

And Bama offered Treon Harris today.

Treon Harris will OV this weekend. He is trending UF in the crystal ball predictions.

Also Damian Prince says that he could use his empty OV on Auburn, LSU, or Penn state.

I thought Sean White was the best QB in the UA All Star game. It wasn't even close. I don't care what his ranking is either but to rank him 26 of all QB's creates a credibility issue for your site. He supposedly won a bunch of the individual competitions as well. 26th? WTF. JJ better have his A game because this kid looks like he's going to be a stud. His accuracy is incredible.

Even though I spearheaded this Sean White-Scout thing there is nothing more to say. We know they are wrong so let's move on.

Quotes from Braden Smith's dad per 247 LINK

quote:

He liked Auburn a lot.

I’ll tell you what, what he’s looking for is the feel,” the elder Smith began. “The three things he’s looking for are the academics, atmosphere and tradition. I think he was pretty much satisfied with all three.

“Of course Auburn has a lot of tradition, and they’re a good academic school, and the atmosphere he has to let sink in for a little bit but I think he liked it.

“He has a tough choice on his hands.

One of the things Braden looks at is need, that’s one of his factors,” Dave said. “He wants to go somewhere he’s needed and not just wanted. When you’re the only offensive lineman, that would show need.

One of the things I do know that he liked, and it’s kind of important to him, the football part of his life and when I say that I mean the practice fields, the locker room, the dining hall, where he lives, he likes it close together where he doesn’t have to travel far. There were some places he visited where you lived on one side of campus and had to go to other side for football. That kind of bothered him. At Auburn it was all close together

That's awesome news

Don't know why he would want to be a 1 man line though

When did this happen?!?

I remember one Monday night me and the crew made an impromptu run to Columbus after all you can eat wing night at Boardwalk Grille. All of the girls in the club were 'nursing students.'
