Denaud will more then likely be a move inside guy after the first year. Williams will be an Edge guy. Dixon would be an Edge guy as well.
I love the 2 ‘24 commits. Great start if we can add 1 a month leading up to the winter dead period
I agree this class has to be extremely solid and wins on the field. The state and our recruiting foot print is/was absolutely loaded this year. Even if we took backup plans to our number 1’s we could’ve been top 10ish class

Chad Simmons on 247 talked to Bo Hughley tonight and he’s still locked in with UGA but expects him to visit AU and UGA throughout the fall.

I read that too. OL recruiting is still trending up though. Hughley probably had a visit high (euphoria)

I’d assume he still flips. We’re not used to being the recipient of these ordeals but UGA obviously doesn’t feel like this guy is locked in

I certainly expect Williams to be the next commit.
However like I said about Hughley when everyone was calling for a flip this weekend don’t count your chickens before they hatch. Still have a long way to go. He’s at least listening but our coaches have been horrible this cycle in reading a kids true intentions. So we will see.

Even if a guy like that flips today we’re sweating bullets until he signs. That’s part of why I roll my eyes when people bring up the recruiting rankings in the summer. Pointless and usually just used to prove a (temporary) point. Not sure how we’ll be ranked in recruiting throughout the fall but it’s reliably predictable where we’ll be come February and ultimately everything else is just noise.

When there is no news they have to speculate “hopium” to drive more clicks and traffic. This was a big weekend or supposed to be.
Maybe it pays off down the road some but instant look it was again a swing and a miss by the staff.
And I say that about the ‘23 class. The ‘24 class got some good news in 2 really good players.

I have no problem with going after and landing ‘24 kids that want to get on the boat. Congrats.
But don’t go on Twitter and basically said look at what I did when you’re in last place in the frickin conference.
That’s my biggest take away from Big Cat. If all visitors from this weekend commit over the next few weeks, great!!!! But you haven’t done shite yet but make yourself look like a pity fool on Twitter
