Ozzie tried to kick Charlie out of his position space but was just a second late.

I know Ender just saved the day for Julio.

Ridiculous. Although one was Culberson who can't hit water if he fell out of a boat

Julio was taken out after 6 with just one strikeout, 4 hits and a 6.00 era for the day. Hopefully he'll be able to add a W on that later.

I hope the bullpen isn't going to be too cold in Chicago again. Sam Freeman got taken out after 2 runners on and only getting one out. Good luck Carle.

That was too close for comfort! Nice work Carle

Yeah I'd vote for them leaving him in for the 8th... he only faced 2 guys and is batting 7th this inning.

Thank goodness for carle

Hope the closer pitches that well in the 9th... you know since Camargo is pinch hitting for Carle.

Uh oh guess not, they squeaked it out in the 9th again but Minter tried to kill our hearts there.

That took a long time to win that series, but glad they did.

Hope Folty and McCarthy can keep it together against Darvish and Chatwood in the next couple games down in ATL. Going to need a lot of runs again probably but hoping for the best.

Pardon my ignorance on the bullpen, but is it an option to bring up a AAA guy and let him test the waters? Or even move the weakest guy in the rotation to the pen? I realize a starter would be pissed to be moved out there, but it seems like we're missing one more solid reliever to compliment Carle.

Allard can't be too far away being brought up, imo. He's doing well in AAA and would make a good reliever, maybe they need to see if he's consistent or something... or taking ATL's 5 man rotion into a 4 you could put the weakest one (like Folty or McCarthy currently) in the bullpen and let him try to earn his way back in the rotation. And when Sanchez comes off DL from his fall he will be good in relief if he pitches the way he was as a starter. I like it, since the starting pitchers aren't coming close to complete games, but I guess the coach is against or he'd already be doing it.
