Nah people are unhinged nowadays, especially on that mental illness farming apparatus. I can only imagine what he saw after the BYU loss. Maybe if more people keep shitting on it in the press like this, we can finally mature our society a bit and move beyond caring about 140 character limited status updates by socially undeveloped people.

I guess I just don't understand what people expect the benefit from it will be. Like you know calling coaches immature names isn't going to fix anything right?

Honestly, getting off social media is a great personal decision (at least it was for me). Don't blame Pittman for leaving that shite behind, especially considering all of the emotionally fragile fans we have on twitter.

I just don't understand how hard it is to ignore the bullshite. Or hand it off to an assistant/social media coordinator and move on....

Pittman has never handled criticism well, especially when he decides it was too personal....

I definitely think the Twitter mob is full of jackasses but I also don't think it bodes well that he can't handle this amount of criticism. Nutt woulda loved if the trolls were confed to the virtual world.....

This will divide the fan base. Nutt would be proud.

Hell we even have ex players taking sides.

We can't ever have nice things.

Yo, seriously need to chill and remember where y’all were at before he got there. You were 1-23 in Conference before he took over. And he just took lsu to the wire In Death Valley against a team loaded with 4-5 stars that won the west just a few months ago.

quote:

Sam Pittman, one of the nation’s premier recruiters, was named the 34th head coach in Razorback history prior to the 2020 season and has led one of the most remarkable program turnarounds in college football over the last three years. After inheriting a program that had won eight total games and just one Southeastern Conference game in the previous three seasons, Pittman’s Razorbacks have won 19 games in the three seasons with him at the helm. Pittman has navigated the Hogs through the pandemic-shortened 2020 season that featured 10 SEC games, led the program to consecutive winning seasons and back-to-back bowl victories to restore the state’s pride in the program. The 2022 season ended in Memphis, Tenn. with a thrilling triple overtime 55-53 victory over Kansas in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl to clinch Pittman’s second bowl game and give the Razorbacks seven wins. The Liberty Bowl victory was emblematic of the entire season that saw numerous key players miss time with injuries, six starters missed the bowl game for various reasons.

I won’t make fun if Sam’s tits or his gut, or Max as a person but Cody Kennedy still being employed by the university is fare game.

Large majority if our penalties in Sams tenure has come from the OL and they’ve been Charmin soft for years.

Dude should have been canned after last year but Sam refuses to address it and because of that he’s fair game.

My on expectations and requirements for Pittman are 6-6 yearly as a floor. If he drops below that it's not working. We're a good enough program to make a bowl yearly or should be.... morris was an exceptionally bad few years....

I can't imagine a major CEO or leader deciding to quit Twitter cause people are mean. That just seems weak... and I also think the people talking shite to him are assholes...doesn't change it...

Exactly. Quitting Twitter because it’s distracting you, I get that. Deleting your account because people are being mean though… that’s sad for a guy who’s paid millions and expected to lead a football team

Sh!t man, if Chad couldn't kill it I don't believe Pittman can.
Let's see how the season plays out.

We are currently living in a repeat of 2005.

Some fans are criticizing him for twisting the last two losses into a lecture on mental health.

Anyone noticing this misdirection is labeled a “negahog” and is shite on by Pitt supporters.

What a time to be alive!

Again!
