How about LJ's?

OPO was fun.

JR's Dickson Street Ballroom.

Layla's.

Chester's.

The Dome.

RIP all the above bars.

Lightbulb club was the shite back in 99-00 for sure. All you needed was one ID for 20 people

Also Dave's on Dickson. There used to be tons of live music options on the weekends. Im glad Smoke and Barrel is getting some variety b/c if you don't like the show at Georges there's not any other options most nights

I used a few older friends from HS's ids. I was friends with seniors when I was a freshman, it just cost me the cost of duplicates at the DMV. Just had to remember not to use the same one as the person I was with. Crazy how it worked everywhere.

Saw Smile Empty Soul there on Friday night, then drove to Little Rock to see them again on the next day, this was probably one of the last shows they had there. They brought in some good bands.

No ID needed at Juanita's, they used a sharpie to X your hands, so a alcohol pad and trip to the bath room and wal-la 21, after I turned 21 they started using ink that showed up under a black light at the bar that didn't wash off so easy.

I thought they booked better bands when it was JR's Dickson Street Ballroom and Chris King was doing it.

You'd see bands that you'd see on MTV there in the same tour.

I saw Fuel, Cherry Poppin Daddies, Cracker, in their days. I'm old. But I was also drinking on a fake ID.
