With Pinion, we also don't have anyone good enough that can drive and dish effectively to get him the ball if he was in. Black is great, but we miss having a small quick guard.

We need a Sears type of addition from the portal along with wing shooters.

Muss has got to get over defense first shite if he wants to make it past Elite 8.

Is this team even worth following until Feb when Smith returns? Not really. It all hinges on him regardless.

2 injuries from an 8-man rotation that Muss likes to run is 25% of the team. Not to mention they were both guys that likely would've been out there ~40 minutes so it's closer to like 35% of of the playing time that we lost

My personal opinion is that isn’t going to return period, but if this team has no chance to make the tourney he’s most definitely not coming back

The lineup tonight was my favorite one we've run since NSJ got hurt again. If only pinion could defend.

I personally am not a huge Makhel fan. I don't think he brings much to the table that Kamani doesn't do better.

If he was more coordinated he had 3 layups/dunks last night that he couldn't take advantage of because he lost is balance coming down with the ball.

Makhi, on the other hand, I love. Honestly starting to wonder if we should just play more old school post up basketball with him. He seems to win a high % of the time.

Graham, Makhi, Devo, Black and Walsh/Council.

Don’t think we’ve seen that much.

This is our most talented lineup. I am kinda disappointed with Walsh, not sure what type of game Muss wanted to use him for but man he is snakebit around the rim.

Grades vs Bama

Graham +6.2
Devo +4.9
Makhel +1.5
Makhi -1.2
Kamani -1.2
Council -2.2
Walsh -3.7
Black -11.2

Council had 15 points but nonexistent on the glass, and 5 turnovers

So, Evidently NS father contacted the Buzz through a friend who was on there. Said, "Tell the hosts to chill out on talk about his son not coming back because he came to the University of Arkansas to play basketball, and he's going to do that"

Whelp.... Hope he heals up well soon and gets us a rolling!

Am I the only one who has never doubted his intentions? I believe he wants to play, and will play, but also the next 6 months are the most important of his life. And will be the difference in generational wealth and being a traveling through the foreign leagues guy.

I don’t know what the numbers mean, but I thought Graham could have been in over Devo most the time, because he does dumb shite at the worst times.

Black seemed like he just got bullied the past few games.

Here’s what we do.

Run the offense Stockton/Malone style with Devo and Mitchell/Graham. Devo is a good passer and can hit those mid range shots. Have Council and Walsh be slashers who the defense has to account for while it is also having to help on the pick and roll. Have Pinion hang out behind 3 to create space and be an outlet if the mid range/inside is stopped.

That will be $350, Eric.

Edit: Or treat Mitchell like he’s Shaq and just feed him the ball down low over and over.

Point is we have a 90’s era roster now so let’s play 90’s basketball.
