We basically traded taking reaches in Texas for taking pretty decent players in New Orleans and Miami.

Just like they have for about 7 years or so. No evidence to support higher ranked players end up being great players afterall, though. Especially not when you look at the percentage of 3 stars make it to the NFL vs 4/5 stars. No evidence at all.

Strong is a really, really good coach. It'll be interesting to see how Texas does

My biggest fear was Petrino leaving us for Texas and ruling college football forever. He'd rape that conference year-in, year-out at a school where you don't really have to work too hard to get your top targets.

pretty sure there were more 3 stars in the Super Bowl than 4 ans 5 stars

However I'm going to assume as a ratio more 5 stars were in it

He'd still have an awful defense

Strong had a top 35 class at Lulzville before he left, Petrino barely cracked the top 50.

Strong had a top 20 class at Texas, not a top ten like they are accustomed to.

In ocelot's world, if you support an Arkansas coach you must be a friend or relative.
