At this point, there are far more University of Arkansas students coming from DFW metro than from the counties making up south and eastern Arkansas.

Alumni provide gifts and $$$. Like it or not, football is just a part of the university, which is in Fayetteville, and will always be in Fayetteville.

I am in favor of keeping a single game in Little Rock until I start reading shite posted by hardcore WMS supporters, then I want to just get the frick rid of them all so we don't have to ever deal with this stupid, tiresome, ridiculous "debate" ever again.

I mean seriously, the threats are just stupid. Every single county south and east of Little Rock except for the white flight communities immediately adjacent to Pulaski County are losing population, and have been for at least the past 20 years.

The Delta is drying up. If Ole Miss wants those counties, let them have them. There's no money there, and there will be almost no people in those counties in 20 years if current trends continue.

That's just reality.

The University of Arkansas is increasingly a University comprised of students from NWA, LR and DFW. Over 36% of our student body last year was from out of state. Its probably more this year.

And every single game is on TV now anyway.

People who are honestly excluded from driving to Fayetteville for a game due to the expense involved probably can't afford tickets in the first place.

WMS should have a game where a couple canned food goods gets you a ticket.

Then around Christmas time these same people will get their canned goods back.

That would appeal to the hardcore WMS fanbase.

And the hub of Arkansas, the state capitol, the center of business and government, will always be Little Rock.

And I am in favor of UofA keeping most of their games in Fayetteville.

But I am just as tired of the same old shite that is almost ALWAYS drug up by some 'no Little Rock games' protester. Just about EVERY time, it's those folks who start the shite.

And I am sick as shite of you NWA attitude frickers. I'm glad the team is not that way at least. Without the 'non-NWA' folks on the team, we wouldn't have one.

Wow, never thought I'd see the time that I was actually really disappointed in the supposed Arkansas fans on this board.

Never say never, I guess.

Fwiw, it looks horrible, not that some of you would care.

I'm out. Y'all carry on. You can't seem to help yourselves.

I'm sorry Missy...

But I'm south Arkansas born, raised, educated and proud of it. And as big of a Hog fan as anybody.

However, I will stand up for us poor, not worthy folks down here when talked down to.

I could have gone to UA, (or A State or Memphis) but the degree program I was pursuing was actually better thought of at Henderson at the time. HSU and Ark Tech were the dominant programs at the time.

There is no such thing as a school that is the best for all degree programs.

Every University in the state has their niche.

I have a lot of friends who went to Henderson. Arkadelphia is a neat place. I always liked getting to go there for play off games in high school, too. Good times.

Highway funding votes for NWA is still basically NWA vs the entire rest of the state for whatever reason.

Yes.

Idk if you're trolling your own board, or what, but pretty much everyone I know loves NWA, as well as the rest of the state, with the exception of W.Memphis, maybe. That's one of the great things about Arkansas

True. However, don't kid yourself when the city powers that used to be (Little Rock) got to rub elbows alone until the new suits came into play (NWA).

Like it or not.. The more diverse the campus becomes (80% minority increase since 2008 - 5k students) the less you even need Little Rock. People used to think Fayetteville was white and to daddy rich, it was then, it is no longer just strictly that now.

If you boys, and ladies, think we didn't lose some players because there wasn't enough minority vibe in the past would just be kidding yourselves. Now that was also with some subpar recruiters but coach B has it better than any previous coach. Take a walk down Dickson Street and it is certainly not the same as a decade ago. There are a few reasons for the massive push. Trust me.

I'm am looking for the link... but there is a large increase for ALL Arkansas universities from south, east and central Arkansas students. Thank you gambling. Buy a ticket and put a kid in college.
