They do and my hope is that they get things fixed quickly.

I don't have an issue with the general scheme and philosophy of making teams work their way down the field. What I have an issue with is not taking your shot to end a drive when you have a team in 3rd and 8 and pressure is likely going to make them throw it quickly short of the sticks.

It also just doesn't look like we're very fundamentally sound (especially at LB), which is a separate issue.

At the end of the game yesterday, Kane actually decided to bring pressure and guess what ? It worked. He needs to get this unit in line quickly and quit squandering the talent that he has to work with.

It's worked all season. Opponents YPA when we bring pressure is something like 2.5 less than when we don't.

You can't always do it and you can't do it against anybody, but when you are playing inexperienced QBs and have legitimately good blitzers at LB (which we do).........make the dude prove he can slice it up. There was zero shot Sellers was going to, and didn't, when we did it. He either got sacked or threw it quick and short.

I’m just as concerned about the run defense holding up this week as blitzing. Everyone remembers Hyatt burning us so badly two years ago. But it was the Tennessee run game that quietly did a lot of damage and put our defense in a tough position to pick your poison.

Campbell is more of an edge rusher. When they made the move to get him rushing the passer yesterday he looked pretty good.

Passrushing literally forces him to play downhill. He's a tremendous athlete, but just freezes like a deer in the headlights when the play comes to him.

Yup. Wommack loves soft zone coverage and 3 man rushes on 3rd and 7+ more than Heupel and Fulmer love Krispy Kreme.

DeBoer literally said this yesterday in the post game press conference. He said that the drive to open the third quarter was inexcusable. Wommack is either totally clueless, in over his head or scared. Alabama is not the place to have on-the-job training.

No game feels like the past 17 years. I never felt we would lose a game but the blowout from Clemson. I always felt we would make adjustments and do something different on both sides of the ball if things were not working. I don’t see any changes coming out halftime and so on. I might be wrong but it seems we just keep trying to do the same things.

I bragged on this coaching staff after Georgia, now I’m just shaking my head saying this is who we are now. Dammit!

#34 has to get more playing time and if #11 goes to the bench then great or #0 goes instead. We can't afford for #0 and #11 both to be on the field at the same time. #9 needs to be on the field as well. He is a playa with speed, and he will hit with the best of them. The play or lack of it of these ILBers is causing a ripple effect for the DL and DB's

#87 played some yesterday at H-back/TE and he did well. Put #45 on the bench and keep him there. His hands have to be sore after a game because all he does is push people.

Nick and staff shite the bed recruiting inside linebackers these last three years.

I've been far more disappointed in our linebackers than the freshman DBs.

Jihad was basically the same player last season but for whatever reason, our fans thought he was the next Reuben Foster. I think Lawson has been pretty consistent. Missed a tackle yesterday though

A more fitting name as it translates from the Arabic to "struggling".

Lawson was named one of the defensive players of the game yesterday by the staff for the defense. Robbie was also named one of the offensive players of the week. Just found that interesting:

Doesn’t surprise me. I thought he played well. He missed one tackle that I saw, but nobody is perfect.

South Carolina is a hard team to figure out. They got beaten badly last week by Ole Miss but three weeks ago had LSU on the ropes and should have won.
