Idk if I’d go that far. He’s talented, had some good games, but Rylan can be a head case too.

He avg 12ppg on 39% from 3. And is a solid defender.

I never understood why our fans shite on him when he left. He was a good player for us.

Bc he said some dumbass things about going to a program that had a chance to win it all. Then Kansas played like shite all year.

Yes, but many of us - definitely me - said dumbass things when we were 20. The parable of the prodigal son still has meaning.

I think being on the spectrum plays into that

Looks like Coward is Duke bound. Sucks but we're not going to win that battle very often.

I've preached being patient this whole portal season, but if we whiff on Coward, which seems likely at this point, we better hope Philon comes back or we've just been really quiet about other high-profile recruitments. Otherwise we will be banking a lot on these freshmen being better than expected and Bethea living up to the high pedigree for us to be nationally relevant again.

Would love to see us go after some of these overseas guys looking to transition to college.

I feel like the Philon coming back discourse is just hopium at this juncture. Philon said he was all-in on going pro in his announcement. I read that to mean he's done with college and he's going to let the chips fall where they may.

We're going to be mid to low end major conference at-large team next season. 2025-26 is a reset after a great 3 year run.

You are correct. It's why I hoping Lee could have been an option. I don't think we'll see Philon back but I hope I'm wrong.

I think we can still be good but to progress beyond where we've been, we need Philon or similar and another frontcourt guy. IMO

California transfer Andrej Stojakovic, the son of former NBA star Peja Stojakovic and one of the best available players in the portal, has committed to Illinois, he told ESPN on Monday.

Stojakovic chose the Fighting Illini over North Carolina and Stanford, where he started his college career.

(Sorry if already mentioned)

I don’t. Tim Watts has said that if Philon doesn’t get a top 15-20 guaranteed he is probably returning.

And I don't think he will. Likely coming back at this point

Unrelated but did yall see Philon’s old Twitter posts stating that he loathes the cities of SLC, Charlotte, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Toronto, San Antonio, Houston, Portland, Dallas, Chicago, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Minnesota, and DC? Crazy stuff. He’s deleted them so don’t go looking.

Okay, well I hope that's true because he's not a top 20 pick.

As I had been told and posted back on 4/18 about Stojakovic to Illinois. Almost lost him to Stanford due to a girlfriend on their lacrosse team.

My same guy says Oats checking on Watkins right now to see how much will cost since Coward very likely to Duke.

Rylan still a ? as he would get more run at A&M.

Can't blame him for any of the cities on that entire list.

I like San Antonio, Charlotte, Toronto, and Orlando a lot. I like some of the others.
