You post this kind of crap all the time with that username. Do you not understand how poorly that reflects on who you're trying to represent?

Oats wanted that. He must have reached out to SDSU staff and picked their brain.

Listening to various in-depth podcast interviews with Oats over the past few years, it's amazing how much he has studied other successful programs and continues to pull from that (which he is very open about).

I think he still visits college and NBA training camps with an assistant every season.

Dude just never stops learning, which is probably a huge testament to his success.

Hopefully. That'd be two solid adds this late in the game. I saw 4 and 3 on Wague and figured he'd just be a warm body at the end of the bench, but he did that in 10mpg, so he was definitely the productive backup big we need.

I don't think there would be a better realistic add with that last scholarship than Wague. He's young so he might not be expecting a big role just yet, but he's proven himself enough to be reliable if we need him to step up.

I mean we can really even pitch him on an expanded role that will work out well for everyone involved. It lets Nelson be a full time 4, Stevenson can be a wing/forward who fills in where needed, and Pringle and Wague are our 5s. We know Pringle will get into foul trouble a lot because he's so aggressive and we need someone who's able to step in and play 12-15mpg.

Here's the thing, we don't know the lineup just yet. we don't know how they will run the offense. Pringle was aggressive because he was playing less minute and had freedom to be aggressive. With expanded role, I expect him to be more smart about his defense and how he approach it.

It is way too early to figure out the line up... This is positionless offense. Oat will put the best lineup on the floor that can push the ball well, and generate fast points.

Nah. That's totally the kind of thing that Jesus would say. Right after he'd call Mary Magdalene a filthy whore, made a nice profit healing some lephers, and laugh with his rich buddies about his easy it'll be to get into heaven.

It amazes me when someone can profess to be a Christian and a college athletics fan and yet still be racist. Like how do you not see the disconnect there?

He loves the Lord, but not the people who the Lord loves.

Nelson posted a commitment video on Instagram so that’s the first time anything has come from him right?

I hope every student in the student section that is capable of growing a mustache grows one out for basketball season in honor of Grant Nelson.

Imagine you're a D1 athlete and can't even max out at what your 56 year old coach reps as a warmup set.

The dude is a stud. Two-time Colonial Athletic player of the year and after watching those highlights I don't know how anyone could not be excited about what he brings to the Tide.

Jarin Stevenson explains decision to join Alabama and reclassify

PITTSBORO — Last week, local boys basketball standout Jarin Stevenson announced his commitment to the University of Alabama, and his decision to leave Seaforth early and join the Crimson Tide ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Stevenson, who is headed to Tuscaloosa to enroll this week, chatted with the News & Record after his announcement to detail why exactly he chose the Crimson Tide over UNC, Virginia and several other schools. He said head coach Nate Oats’ program was not only the best decision for his immediate future, but also the one that sets him up best for his aspirations beyond college.
