It was a great interview but starting it off with Nate discussing how much time Gottfried was on the golf course made me laugh. I hope Mark’s ex didn’t watch this pod.

Calipari really wasted a lot of talent at UK. Duke can at least point to a coaching change in this time frame, but that is pretty damning too.

The last two UConn teams were FILTHY loaded with talent. Some might not have been top NBA talents (Sonogo, Calcaterra, etc) guys, but they were VERY good college players. Hurley is obviously a great coach and developer, but he's apparently also an incredible talent evaluator. If he offers a recruit and makes him a priority, I'm hoping Oats does as well.
