The whole row of Texas guys stood up doing the horn symbol so the student section did horns down and the chant.

I’m pretty sure I read where Tennessee’s defensive metrics were off the charts so far this year (prior to KY of course). Think it’s the best since Kenpom started tracking the metrics like 20 years ago. Their schedule isn’t as hard as ours, but they held Kansas to 50 and beat them by 14. Huge that KY beat them in Knoxville!

Watching Bama win by 40 against LSU sitting right behind the student section is a perfect way to spend a Saturday! Been watching Bama Bball since 2000, this team is the best I’ve seen. They still need to win hardware to solidify their place in Bama history, but they’re better than the 2002 and 2021 championship teams.

State's beating Auburn tonight would be like a nice slice of cheesecake after that nice 40 point margin steak dinner this afternoon.

I'd have to go to the ER with the Priapism.

State just ended the half giving up a run out off a stolen lazy pass, taking a trash mid-range shot fairly early in the shot clock, and then watching Auburn drill a shitty contested 3 at rhe buzzer. Went from a 3 point game to an 8 point game in 30 seconds.

Damn.

Knowing Kenpom Tennessee may move up to number 1 if Colorado pulls off this win @UCLA.

Texas and Ohio State were here for a two day swim meet. Didn’t notice any OSU folks at the game but we didn't notice the Texas guys until after the chant. Too busy watching the 3’s drop.

Was great to see the student section packed and having fun. I watched the event staff turn away a ton more who were lined up outside trying to get in the student section.

Student section has been amazing the last few years. I am jealous. It was dead when I was in school while Gottfried was driving the program into the ditch.

I'm still amazed he never got us on probation. He ran us into the ground, but every other school he touched got sanctions.

I think the only reason he didn't was because 90% of his recruiting shenanigans involved battles with Stansfield, who didn't want to draw attention to himself by turning in Gottfried.

They destroyed Kansas. But that’s really it. I don’t get it either

Oh Ok I had forgotten about that.

That is a very good win, but no better than us winning @Houston.

13,474

so there was over 1000 empty seats today? Where were they? I mean 200 or 300 but 1000? I don't see it. I looked.

If there were only 13,474 there then they are only allowing 13,474 in. 2nd consecutive sellout with that same announced attendance figure.
