I'm also pretty excited to watch how Stevenson progresses. His shot looks great. If we turn him into a legit one and done it gives us a ton of recruiting ammo too since UNC apparently didn't think he was ready.

Wake Forest was trailing Elon by 21 with seven minutes left in the 1H, but came back and won by 23.

TCU scored 54 in the 1H and 54 more in the 2H to beat Southern by 33.

Indiana St took down St Mary's of the Woods last night by 30, 90-60.

Yep, St Mary's of the Woods

Swope with 26, Conwell with 25 (combined 10 for 18 from 3)

Can't get over how many individually fantastic offensive players we have. Never seen this deep a roster of offensive players on an Alabama team.

Around Coleman, all the signs of a new season were in place. The hard hats were back, and a student won a $200 barbecue gift card for sinking a shot from half-court during a timeout.

The new president of the Crimson Chaos student section, Jacob Pickle, received his plaid jacket from a group including athletics director Greg Bryne and Pamela Ratliff, mother of late Alabama hoops superfan Luke Ratliff. Brandon Miller, now of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, was in the house.

Saw some really good stuff from him last night. I've been excited about him for a while now.

Dioubate showed some really good things last night too.

Wague will be fine if he just buys into being a rim protector and rebounder. Maybe it was nerves, but he didn't look great on the offensive end at all. Though he looked to have a decent stroke from the FT line. His offense should probably be limited to catching lobs.

Happened during the women's game and the men's game.

We play South Alabama on 11/14 and we play Mercer on 11/17.

Almost everyone had defensive lapses last night, but we badly need one of Wague and Pringle to figure out how to defend without fouling.

What's really surprising is that Stevenson is one year younger than Sherrell.
If Stevenson doesn't do one-and-done and stays in college for one more year, he might become a superstar.

Stevenson reclassified. He’s just super young for his grade now. Only turned 18 a couple weeks ago.

After watching last night we are Bediako deciding to come back away from being the best team in the SEC.

Bediako would make this a #1 seed again. Might still get there, who knows?

This team will still struggle with Tennessee if the refs are going to let UT get away with murder all game like they tend to do.

It sounds crazy but Chuck and Nelson could 1000% be on the court at the same time

Yea….Chuck on the 2 way contract with the Spurs. JD has been on the 2 way with the Celtics for a couple of years now….. both could have used another year in college.

Maybe. I love having Nelson and Stevenson out there together though, and that really couldn't happen with Chuck also on the floor. We don't have anyone who looks like an elite individual defender, but I think we have enough length to be a competent defense, and our backcourt at least looks like they'll be pests. It's a whole new team too, so communication should naturally improve as they get more time together.

It doesn't sound crazy at all. They have very different games.

Nelson may be able to play some 3. Obviously, our offense is mostly positionless, so I'm talking about on defense. Nelson isn't fast, but seemed quick. That's not crazy. What was crazy was someone who said a lineup with Walters at the 2 spot. No way he's quick enough to defend guards. Definitely not as a freshman.
