Thought and discussions about a cancer or 7 in the locker room are real. CKD is at a major inflection point. He will get a hold of the issues quickly or his count down at the university will startto escalate. I had a breakfast conversation today with a couple of old timer Coach Bryant boys from back in the day. I am no longer plugged in at the University like I once was...but they are.

CKD has to deside whether his first priority is to save this season or take a stand to save the next couple of years and his job.The old timers can accept a choice to step back and take control of the issues but will not accept letting a lack of disapline and entitled players damage what has been built over the last 60 plus years.

The choices CKD makes in the next few days will likely ruffle some feathers that must be ruffled or he will losea huge portion of last years signing class to the portal and an equaly large portion of the up coming signing class. If the lets it ride, he will be gone by the end of the 2026 season.

The cancer is a group headed by the 3 team captains. There are 2 ~ 4 additional members of the cancer crew. Most of the names have been mentioned already. The team captains are team leaders but they are leading in the wrong dirrection. This is a team and there is 1 leader that answers for the locker room and what hits the field. Leading the locker room extends to any and all campus related functions, events, and reasponsibilities.

The administrations has been made aware of the concerns. I am not just talking about the AD. More importantly the President and BoT. University and athletic department money is on the line.

I guess we will see how much attention is paid and when that attention becomes evident to the world outside of the locker room.

Dammit, this is getting ugly. DeBoer can fix it, but will he?

I really hope so. I would rather lose a couple of more games than have this shite continue into next season.

It’s still mind numbing that 5-6 players can sink the entire ship. The locker room wasn’t built that way but we know that Saban lost some control/discipline over the years.

Not sure if you are able to share. What decisions have to happen to right the ship for the long term?

What the specific choices are that have to be made are not the question or issue. This is not about any "who" but rather a huge "what". These guys are not attempting to micro manage. They want to see CKD do his f'in job and get the team shite in order. He has the freedom of choice with his actions but no longer has a choice in the consequenses.

Is this KD mentality before he got here or was this created in an attempt to hold the team together? I just can’t wrap my head that’s he’s this nonchalant about massive issues.

So are you saying it's a problem with the players or DeBoer's response to what they're doing?

I tried to tell everyone Milroe was a cancer. I've seen through his politician ways since day 1.

He's like a Sith operating in the shadows.

The guy is literally the smoking gun that ended the CNS era.

Meanwhile DeBoer isn't made of the kind of stuff it takes to win a struggle like this. They are probably walking all over him like a scene from Me, Myself, and Irene

Ty Simpson should be the QB1 this Saturday, and the first sack Booker gives up with Simpson at QB should be his last.

I truly hope Ty gets a shot at the job after enduring this shite show, but I'll be just as happy for him when he transfers and balls out somewhere because he clearly has talent.

Milroe needs to go into politics, It may be the only thing he's a natural at because it damn sure isn't playing football, and it DAMN sure isn't playing QB. His footwork is as bad today as it was three years ago

Im assuming that what is being implied is that there are the team captains Milroe, Moore, (not sure third captain), that have lots of sway over Saban recruited players and are not totally buying in to the new program and/or looking out for their own at expense of team. The younger players feel excluded im guessing because they werent Saban players. The older players will im assuming make it a racial issue is Deboer pulls Milroe for a white backup QB.

I dont know if I believe all of this. Per usual there is always a grain of truth in the sea of exaggeration. I do believe some starters on the team reacted badly to Milroe being pulled last season.

I dont know how anyone would know any of this unless they are just good friends with players on the team. How would old timers know any of this? Who would be telling the administration about this? Just seems very far fetched.

There are cliques on this team. I think everyone can all agree on that. Probably due to NIL as everyone with a brain predicted would happen. I doubt Bama is the only team dealing with it.

*Saban really opened the door for a lot of this BS. Najee Harris and the BLM team march shite come to mind.

Good Lord. This might explain lot of things. Like why is Booker doing interview every week ?

To be honest, It sounds like players aren't taking things seriously in the program and running around wild, doing podcasts, worrying about wrong things, and not taking things seriously. It sounds like they're trying to correct some things, but it may not be enough this season.

Now, It explains why we heard players tucking shirts in and paying attention to details in practice and etc. CKD gave them freedom and they blew it so now, he has to tighten the ship. I think he'll handle it.

If it reached to admin, BOT, then trust Saban knows about it and I think things are getting addressed behind the scene.

I don't think we'll hear players doing podcasts or random interviews for a while.

Tyler Booker, Deontae Lawson, Malachi Moore and Jalen Milroe are the team captain for this season.

Booker is the one doing weekly interviews.

frick em, it sounds like he’s a deadman walking. If he doesn’t cut out the cancer, it will only grow. If he removes it, it will kill the talent pool. I hope he goes with the latter.

I think he's saying that it's a problem in how CKD is responding to the issues going on with the team. he's too laid back.

The same baby-soft, candy-arse, beta male who let a player show his goddamn arse on the field like a fricking toddler and redirect coaches without consequence?

That coward?

I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Imagine it coming out that Milroe stopped trying and didn’t give a shite about the UT game.

Not saying that happens we only know a veryyyyy small portion of what goes on behind the scenes but that guy looked like he gave 30% effort. He didnt scramble. He didn’t do shite.
