I’m about 90% sure that’s correct.

On the pitch it is sad, but I feel like nobody really respects City. It is like the Yankees and the Mets or the Lakers and Clippers. Even when the Yankees or Lakers are bad and the Clippers and Mets are good, you know who the city really belongs to.

These guys would like a word with you mate

Confirmed UCL round of 16 ties - Feb 13

FC Porto vs. Arsenal

SSC Napoli vs. Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain vs. Real Sociedad

Inter vs. Atletico Madrid

PSV Eindhoven vs. Borussia Dortmund

SS Lazio vs. FC Bayern Munchen

FC Copenhagen vs. Manchester City

RB Leipzig vs. Real Madrid

City with the easiest draw of course. Arsenal has to deal with 2 Pepes which is a nightmare. Definitely up for some Napoli/Barcelona, Real Madrid/Leipzig action. Sociedad could bounce PSG. I'm ind of liking Inter/A. Madrid but Inter might thump them.

It’s a bit more unpredictable this year. The big boys have been wobbly, at least in league play, except for maybe Madrid. As long as City doesn’t win I’m good.
I’d love to see Arsenal play Atletico. Simone is a maniac.

Simone and Arteta on the touch line of a Champions League final would be madness .

Luton Town having an inspired performance against Newcastle. Their captain had a cardiac arrest last game and went down on the pitch last game. May never play at this level again (happened last year in a playoff game to him). They are up 1-0 against one of the better teams in the league on USA.

Arsenal (1) and Liverpool (3) at 11:30 CST.

United beat again, sad.

Should literally keep Mainoo and Garnacho and start over. Fire every other player. That team is straight arse.

So psyched for start of season. Utd. top of the table. lol. For a day anyway. Not convinced with ETH. I think he’s stubborn as hell.

That post was made December 2023 .

Good start to the season though for them. Same players, so we will see if the same problems pop back up. Stinks their new signings already have injuries.

Chelsea is so super weird. Signing anybody and everybody to 10 year deals, no kit sponsor. Just odd. You watch guys like Jackson, Fernandez and Caiceido look special one second and brain fart the next. Played City though so you can't expect a win anyway. Maybe they get it out the mud.
