Yesterday at the combine. Anyone got any guesses? I believe it’s because his speed has been overhyped. About the only thing he had entering the combine was his “insane measurables.”
Well, he’s 6’1” 219 lbs and wouldn’t run. He’s going to try and get by on the hype of his speed, which isn’t there.

I'm not an avid football fan, but how the hell is that guy 6'1.. He dwarfs a lot of guys in the huddle or at least appears to

Sorry, he’s 6’1” 1/2. It’s all on the internet if you don’t believe.

Why is this an issue? Lot of players declined yesterday. Everything he does, y'all find something to complain about.

Because TS has been obsessing over Milroe’s 40 for months and arguing that Milroe is much slower than everyone thinks.

Lamar Jackson didn't run the 40 at the Combine, either.

Calm your tits. This isn't a big deal.

Yeah I get people hate him and if he actually was what he thought he was and what we and those head coaches hoped he would be.. we would all love him.

However hating on this guy in the combine is strange.

Wish him well and move onward.

He'll run it at Pro Day.

There was only 1 QB that even ran the 40 at the combine...which was a little surprising.

Milroe did ok in passing drills...nothing that really moved the needle either way. Riley Leonard helped himself in passing drills...also an athletic guy that didn't do any of the other stuff.

Milroe hit 22.5 mph in the LSU game on his 75 yard TD run. His straight line speed is well established in his game film. No reason to run the 40 for something scouts are already well aware of.

Milroe is very fast. Hard to imagine claiming otherwise. He doesn't read defenses well in the passing game or the running game, and he is sporadic with his passing accuracy, but he is very fast.

I hope he gets drafted, but I'll be shocked if he spends much time actually playing QB in the NFL. It's possible, but he needs to put in a lot of work to make that happen.

He has an official height at the combine of 6’1-7/8, taller than cam ward with bigger hands, longer arms and bigger wingspan. if you don’t think Millroe has elite speed for a QB you are retarded. A lot of things can be questioned with him but that’s not one of them.

The last time he was officially timed, he ran a 4.6 40.

Thanks for confirming he is very fast.

That’s not fast. If he was turning out 4.2, 4.3 40s, he would have ran. He didn’t because he runs 4.5-4.6 which will not help his plummeting draft status.

Doesn’t prove his 40 time. He has good straight line speed.

I’m not hating on this guy. I just feel like my contribution to his 2 mill NIL could have been spent on someone better. He grifted Bama. Screw him.

I forgot about all the zig-zagging you have to do running the 40. Good point.

This is most likely the reason, I like and appreciate the love Milroe has for Alabama and the W's we got over UGA, LSU, and AU during his time...buuut most NFL guys probably think he has elite speed when most likely he's a 4.5-6 guy and he didn't want to expel his mythic elite speed.
