yep, one player at that position can make a huge difference in a team. He should go number one in the draft, IMO.

He’s an experienced player. Sixth year senior. Watching him play quarterback makes me envious of what we could have. It’s nauseating.

QBs like Pennix don't grow on trees, especially one with so much experience. It wasn't possible to have a QB like him this season because he played for Washington.

Y’all think 6th year QBs just grow on trees?

Didn’t he suck arse before last season?

His feel in the pocket is really good. Lots of little shuffle sidesteps away from the rush. Really cool and collected with eyes downfield. Then he throws laser beams absolutely on the money.

We had a similar qb in 2020. MacJ was great at sliding to those throwing lanes as well.

Penix had several terrible injuries at Indiana. Two ACLs and 2 shoulder injuries. He had indiana in the top ten one year before getting hurt, and had wins over Michigan and Penn State.. His last yr at Indiana, he only played 5 games before injury. I dont think Indiana won a game that year. So he transferred. He has had no injuries at WA. He was good from day one, just couldnt stay on the field.

I'm also rooting for Washington but I don't have much interest in the game at all. I'm just glad it won't be Texas.

He had 2 season-ending knee injuries.
2 seasons in Wash and he's thrown for over 9200 yards.

He's 10th in TD passes at Indiana despite only playing 17 games.

He will show you how to beat Michigan. They won't be able to bring all that pressure like they did vs BAMA.

It was Washington's 4th TD. A laser.

Definitely glad Texas won't be waltzing into the SEC as defending NCs. Would have been insufferable.

Even if we'd beaten Michigan, I don't think our offense could have kept pace with Penix playing like that.
