He pushed Saban out and he cost us a spot in the playoffs this year.

Everything Saban built culture wise he fricking destroyed.

Saban recruited him and let him start wrecking shop before he retired.

A lot of the blame is Saban's.

Saban made the mistake of trying to save last season instead of the future of the program.

He tried to move on from Milroe but the whole team basically quit against USF and he had no choice but to go back to him.

Yep. Saban should have cut out the cancer last year. Instead, he let it grow. Now we’re feeling the effects. DeBoer should have recognized this when he took the job and taken action.

If we start losing and getting blown out at home then yes the dynasty is dead.

Until then it's on life support.

The Saban dynasty has been over for years. His vintage run 07-17 was amazing. The air raid years were interesting but Bama never regained the "make his arse quit" mentality. Having a talented roster really covered up some terrible assistant coaching during the last years.

Milroe is just a sub par QB that had moments of grandeur. He didnt end anything

We’re getting blown out by unranked teams now. It’s over bud.

??

We had maybe the greatest team in CFB history in 2020.

We win the National Title in 2021 if Jamo and Metchie don’t both blow out their knees.

We were 1 play away from the National Title game in 2023

It's dead.

2009-2023

Doesn't mean we can't be great again...but that Dynasty is over. How Saban went out winning the SEC shut the door on it.

DeBoer better grow some gonads or we're going to just be another team in the SEC like an Ole Miss...a big win every now and then but otherwise nothing remarkable.

I was expecting a 3-loss season even with Saban this year based on all the cracks we saw and narrow wins we escaped with last year. I just wasn't expecting two of the losses to come against Vandy and an OU team with a losing record.

Seriously??

You are blaming the wrong person.

I saw Milroe lead Alabama to 11 straight wins, a division title, a SEC Championship and the playoffs last year.

I saw Alabama be completely unprepared against two below average teams. The coaches are not used to having their teams show up every week. They didn't realize that you have to be prepared every game in the SEC.

The coaching staff cost Alabama two wins this year by being completely unprepared.

Don't bother with Scotty, he doesn't know.

This times a thousand. He had the chance to come in as a new coach and say I appreciate everything you have done but we just have a different system now.

What's worse is Nick recruited the guy as roster filler to conduct practice.

Yet he became a two year starter.

It both remarkable and frustrating at the same time.

Yep. He should have cleaned house immediately. All DeBoer had to do was watch film of the Rose Bowl last year and he would have clearly seen that Jalen doesn’t fit this passing scheme. Instead, he just let Jalen dominate the locker room again and we’re seeing the results. But it all started with Saban. Nick should have taken care of the situation last year and kicked some people off the team for the USF game stunt.

Saban knew last year was it for him and was doing the best thing for last season and not for the future of the program.

Saban at 65 who knew he had 8-10 years left would have cleaned house after USF
