Are we behind? Our most recent class says otherwise. Maybe we’re behind Texas A&M, but those former Southwest Conference schools have been paying athletes for as long as I can remember.

None of it makes sense to me (and I haven’t had enough interest to date to research it) but apparently whatever legislation Alabama rescinded a short while back put in-state schools at a disadvantage over other schools in states without said legislation. So Alabama and auburn pressed legislators to rescind it and they did.

I'm already tired of hearing players, in general, refer to their "brand."
We were nailed for loaning textbooks not that long ago... now players are signing deals with law firms and BMW dealerships.
Has to be a better way.

I want those 8 wins and 1 tie (shout out to The Duce) added back to the record.

It will get out of control and there will be counter measures. Unfortunately, CFP will be gone forever as we knew it.

I think the problem with NIL is not what it was intended for. I don't know how to explain this... In order to meet Saban's process with NIL....
I think he would say something like this:
85 players on the team receives x amount of "salary" for 4 years. The problem is that, players who already has outside NIL deal before coming to Alabama... I think that's what Saban and other coaches were talking about... maybe change the rules where High school cannot sign NIL Deal until they are enrolled in school and etc.

If we're talking about the same Deuce, and there really is only one (David Palmer) then you've got your scandals and decades mixed up.
