It’s good. Frees up a spot. That’s more important than a quality win at this point.

So Georgia gets in with 4 losses?

No, they punched for SECCG. They have to win that if they lose tonight

It’s good, now we just need South Carolina to drop Clemson if Georgia loses the SECCG

This is a huge safety valve if we don’t get more than one needed upset tomorrow and Georgia loses tonight.

The good thing from this if UGA loses next week is they don't stay in like they would have. The problem becomes does an acc team still their spot? Us? South Carolina?

South Carolina is not jumping us if we win tomorrow

Not if A&M wins SECCG. We’d still need 1 other team to drop out, and if A&M wins out, that makes South Carolina’s schedule look better and ours worse. Tech winning also helps Miami.

Honestly, we need Vandy to beat Tenn and Texas to win SECCG (with UGA losing this one) or ND to get rolled by USC

I feel there are two realistic scenarios. We need 1 upset tomorrow + Texas win + UGA loss next week OR 2 upsets tomorrow + Texas win. Then it's a matter of us vs South Carolina and ole miss most likely

I don’t know why everyone is so confident SC beats Clemson

I have to be honest: I don’t care if it helps or hurts us, I would love to see GA lose at home. Especially against GA Tech.

Well South Carolina beating Clemson is probably our best bet to even be in the race. I'm not necessarily saying they will win. But we probably don't even have an argument if they do lose.

If Alabama beats auburn and Georgia loses tonight and next week, it helps us. At this point, is it about anything other than slot placement?

The top 3 teams in the country are the 3 with the most NIL, (Oregon. OSU, Texas). I know that won’t hold every year, but thats a bit disappointing. We need changes to the portal asap, and need congress to allow collective bargaining to get some parameters around NIL and pay for play. Judges are handcuffed until congress makes a law that can be enforced.

Our title odds have moved from 40 to 1 to 22 to 1 so I have to think somehow Georgia losing is good

If Georgia loses tonight and wins next week, it’s really bad for us, no?

It’s the same outcome as them winning tonight

Right now we just have a grace spot if they lose that we can slide into if we don’t get enough upsets tomorrow, but it hinges on them losing the SECCG

UGA really doesn’t matter for our purposes. It’s better if that plays out without us needing them.

Basically need SC beat Clemson and Miami to smoke SMU. Or someone else to drop a game tomorrow. There is a ton of pressure on these schools not been here in awhile or ever.
