We're apparently recruiting Johnson as an interior DL.

Why then we complain because they’re too fat to move.

You have to admire the pure hatred Rivals has for Alabama when it comes to recruiting. Check out this blurb regarding Ezavier Crowell:

quote:

Auburn made not only an impressive pitch to Crowell during a recent visit but one that might shoot the Tigers way up his list. Alabama, Texas, Florida and others are right there as well.

The four-star running back from Jackson, Ala., was taken by “how real” everything felt and how the love came from the coaches, the staff and even fans around town. They want him to not only be a contributor in the backfield but a difference-maker for the Tigers as Crowell, who will announce on New Year’s Eve, loves coach Hugh Freeze and position coach Derrick Nix.

But he was back at Alabama over the weekend and the Crimson Tide still look strongest.

Just gushing over Crowell's visit to Auburn, yet finishing with Alabama still leads.

ETA: This is the tile of the article that is from "Recruiting Rumor Mill: Feedback rolls in after loaded visit weekend."

Crowell was in Tuscaloosa, but they only mention Auburn for visit details.

They did it again for Jett Washington:

quote:

Oregon is a front-runner with USC trying but the word is that Alabama is “definitely the top of the top” after Washington visited this past weekend.

The message to the Las Vegas Bishop Gorman four-star safety was that the development and history in Tuscaloosa is like no other. It’s a major selling point in his recruitment.

Leads with Oregon and USC only to say Alabama is definitely on top.

Anyone watch the tape on these two?

Curious as to whether there are analogies to other past players.

Such an interesting time because I truly have no idea what kind of offense we are going to see on the field this year but it’s at least good to know what pieces the coaches have to work with.

Coach Hayes loves him some Kamhariyan Johnson... our most recent commitment. I finally just watched his highlights myself. How had I never heard of this kid until after he committed (and he's up here in north AL not that far from me)? He's a terror on the field.

The DL class for this cycle has a chance to be very talented.

Who else are we looking at on DL for this cycle? I’ve read we are pursuing Elijah Golden and a DL from Mississippi, Nolan Wilson. Outside of those two though, I have not seen much regarding DTs were going after.

Titan Davis from Mo. , Bryce-Smith from Ga. and Cleveland from Bham. Cleveland does not have us is top few but don't be surprised. He was committed to us because he always liked Bama then I think an Uncle agent got involved. There are some others too.
