Nah, I'm with you...he seems to be the type that changes his favorite after every recruiting visit...one of those believe it when the ink drys.

Isnt he the one that the running joke was that he didn't really exist?

He popped on the commitment list at the last minute, got hurt, never saw the field then transferred.

Recruiting Rumor Mill: Another busy June in the books

quote:

Caleb Cunningham

For months, the belief was that the high four-star receiver from Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County who’s very close to his family would end up down the road at Mississippi State as coach Jeff Lebby recruited him hard and the Bulldogs are loading up with elite recruits.

Auburn was considered the new front-runner for a minute but after a late visit to Alabama the Crimson Tide have definitely emerged as the favorite. At this point, Alabama looks like it’s going to win out for his pledge.

The rumors about an Ole Miss decommitment started in earnest a few weeks ago with the four-star running back from Quitman, Miss., but the chatter doesn’t end there.

The word is that a flip to Alabama is “going to happen” as the Crimson Tide have definitely emerged as the main contender now in his recruitment.

Alabama 4-star offensive line commit Micah DeBose has transferred from Vigor to Theodore for his final season.

Re: Cunningham

Alabama would be the logical move for him if he’s close to family. Tuscaloosa is close, you get to win, and the NiL opportunities are there.

Makes more sense for him than Aubur or Miss St for several reasons.

What makes you think logic applies to a Mississippi kid?

I think there's too much smoke for his interest to be fabricated. Maybe exaggerated from a visit high, but I don't think he's trolling. If he is he has fooled a lot of people. That said, there has historically been mutual interest between us and top recruits from over there and far more often than not they stay home.

Dear as well. I don't trust any Mississippi kid.

I'm normally the first to show skepticism regarding MS recruits however I am slightly less nervous because of how strong the peer recruiters from this and the '24 class are. I think they are having a strong influence on prospects.

Guys like Ryan Williams, Keelon Russell, and Daniel Hill seem to be working their asses off.

It wouldn't shock me if he's a top 5 receiver in this class when it's all said and done.

If the video gets enough likes and subs then Shannon Terry will start a new recruiting site called “HutHut” and all these guys will immediately follow him.
