You can literally say that about any player.

Rivals Five-Star: Gorney's Media Day takeaways

We saw Michael Carroll last summer. He was big. He’s now at the Rivals Five-Star and he’s even bigger and better-looking. The Penn State legacy from Doylestown (Pa.) Central Bucks East committed to Alabama and he looks SEC-ready right now.

Rivals Five-Star: Recruiting Rumor Mill

Anthony Rogers

Things could get very interesting for the longtime Alabama pledge. Rogers, the No. 1 all-purpose back in the 2025 class plans to take four official visit during the fall. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and Ohio State will all get a shot at him. The Tide will obviously be looking to hold onto his commitment while the others will be aiming to take one from the Tide's grasp.

Despite being committed to Alabama for more than a year, he is taking an open approach in the final stretch of his recruitment to finish out the year. He is committed as of now, but there is no guarantee he will finish as a member of Alabama's class.

Open approach as in who will give me more NIL money. That's the name of the game now. Sad Sad

I think this o-line class could go down as one of the best in the last 20 years at Bama if they end with Ty Haywood.

ESPN updated their Class of 2025 rankings.

Keelon Russell jumped to #32 overall.

ESPN 300

Looked into Russell's high school career. Guy has won back to back Texas 6A titles, last season he passed for ~3500 yards 38 tds to only 3 ints, and ran for several more. That's super impressive resume considering he plays in one of the toughest high school football divisions in the country. His numbers are very close to the lsu qb commit #1 recruit, and that guy plays in crappy Michigan high school football

No idea.

ESPN doesn't provide rankings history on their site.

I trust a random number generator more than I do ESPN rankings anyway

If Keelon Russell moved up with a lot of it due to his elite 11 performance, why is JuJu Lewis #2? By elite 11 standards, he was very average

He needs to be higher.

other than he needs to add some bulk, what is the knock on him? He's got the height, he's got the accuracy, he's got the arm strength, he's got the resume both on the field and in camps. I don't really see why he's not at the very top. He plays in tough high school division unlike other of the top ranked QBs. Must be cause he was committed to smu previously

Under the radar from early evaluations. At this rate, he might be a 5* when On3 does new rankings on 7/8.
