Awesome news! Now let’s get him in the Strength & Conditioning Program to beef him up!

Looks like Bama is a good position to land one of the top two QBs in the 2025 class according to Bone.

LINK

Bryce Underwood and George MacIntyre are both considering Bama. Underwood plans to commit January 6th. Most consider MacIntyre a more likely pull for the Tide however Underwood did unexpectedly visit this weekend for the second time. Both said one of the biggest factors of them considering Bama is knowing they would not have to compete against future Heisman winner Ty Simpson who is expected to transfer.

Somebody asked about the DT from Penn. We were never in on him but he committed to Florida.

What?!?! There is no such thing as too many good DTs. Besides, there are other positions that we (on paper) recruit better than DL.

How things stand with the top uncommitted prospects in the 2024 Rivals250

quote:

Zavier Mincey is a little tougher read than some others down the stretch but the four-star cornerback from Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland could be down to a battle between Miami and Florida. The Hurricanes could have a slight edge but the Gators are right there especially as his teammate four-star DE LJ McCray is committed there although Auburn and Florida State are trying to flip him. Alabama and the Seminoles are two others to watch as this one could still go different ways.

Nebraska had made an earlier push for Jayshawn Ross and then over the last many months Tennessee, Oklahoma and others have been involved but it now looks like Alabama is by far the program to beat. Nick Saban has been personally involved with the Kansas City (Mo.) Liberty North four-star defensive end and it now looks like the Crimson Tide will get Ross in their class.

Even with coach Jimbo Fisher and position coach Elijah Robinson gone, the new Texas A&M staff has done enough to convince Solomon Williams to visit on the final weekend before National Signing Day. If Fisher and Robinson stayed in College Station, it might be tough for any team to beat the Aggies - that's how much interest Williams had in that program. Alabama has made a huge final surge here and an in-home visit with coach Nick Saban could have pushed the Crimson Tide ahead but Texas A&M is absolutely still very much in the running here.

Recruiting Rumor Mill: Info flying fast as 2024 cycle enters home stretch

quote:

Although he’s a 2025 five-star prospect who won’t be signing for a while, DJ Pickett took a really important visit to Alabama this weekend and now the Crimson Tide could be right at the top of his recruitment. He loved how seriously the coaches take the DB positions and Pickett said Alabama is everything he’s looking for in a program.

If we land Williams / Ross then we need some of the EDGE players from last class to learn how to play standing up at OLB, and then have some of these other guys put on some weight to play a true DE. Our EDGES have some serious talent!

Now give me Houston and I'll be a happy guy

“Nick Saban is a laid-back guy,” Houston told On3 Sports regarding the Crimson Tide prior to his decision. “They really recruit me by telling me that what I do at Buford is similar to what they do at Alabama. We have a lot of guys up there because of how similar it is to what we’re running in high school. Coach Saban and the way he’s been able to send kids to the league.”

So who do want at RB between Kevin Riley and Jadan Baugh?

Jadan Baugh Senior Highlights

Kevin Riley Senior Highlights

I gotta say, I'm leaning Baugh.

ETA: Found these Baugh stats from an Arkansas website:

113 rushes for 1,583 yards and 18 TDs.
28 receptions for 508 yards and 7 TDs.
6 of 15 passing for 90 yards.
4 two-point conversions.
55 total tackles on defense.
6 interceptions, 1 returned for a TD and 7 PBUs.
3 punt returns for 156 yards and 2 TDs.
18-39 on PATs.

Both, since we need two . Do we want Daniel Hill over one or the other?
