You’re also ignoring it was the first year of the new signing period. They had a Bad recruiting year last year. But Saban fixed it. I’ll take his 11 year recruiting track record here over 1 year.

Just don’t like how his kicks start out right and just slide in on XPs

I think “ what if that was from 35-40 yds

100% if we waste staff spots on "technicians" who have no history of recruiting success, I will pan it. At the same time Saban won't hire a bad coach technique wise and I find most people who talk about a technician don't understand that our offense no longer has Olinemen do the things that we associate with "greatness" at the position.

After getting a $90,000 raise before the 2018 season, Key’s contract called for him to get paid $490,000 this year. The only Georgia Tech assistant paid more than that last year was defensive coordinator Nate Woody at $575,000.

If he is leaving for just a lateral move, then I have to think this is a mutual decision

No matter what you think, Saban values technicians at the lines. Continue to do whatever you want to do

Thibodeaux is a great player but they have a solo cam just to follow him on plays. That’s kinda ridiculous

My point is that saying he values technicians doesn't line up with his actual hiring pattern which is he goes and gets the best coach for available that fits the teams needs (Which is 100% recruiting).

He has hired recruiters and technicians. He has a history of hiring both types, so for any of us to claim that we know for certain what's about to take place is just foolish.

What? Davis is a technician that can recruit. Key is the same. Cristobal got fricking demoted. What about stoutland, pendry, Dunbar? They’re all technicians man

Cristobal is one of those rare people that I believe is a much better head coach than position coach
