We all have that “fringe” of fans, refers to some in this thread but those guys are by far off the chain. They are like a battered woman.

I would think being an early enrollee would be a massive advantage.

It is huge if you think you have a shot at playing time as a freshman. You get five extra months in the S&C program and learning the system. The guys who come in in June are there less than 90 days before the first game, compared to 8 months for early enrollees.

Personally, I don't think I'd give up my last semester of high school, though, unless I thought I had a real shot to play from day 1. (Or unless I was just ready to be done with high school.)

Tyson Campbell decided to go to Georgia this weekend instead of Alabama.

So we cant get our #1 CB target to our biggest home game, whom we have led for a long time with immediate playing time available??

Have we led for a long time? Just asking

Also it is nice to get these guys on campus during a big game but I would prefer to get the top targets on campus in December when no games are being played and the staff can focus on the recruit the whole time they are here.

We were thought to be his favorite after his summer visit and he has projected in our mock class many times

I was asking because I knew people thought we had a great chance but I also noticed of late other DBs were being talked about. Unless I read a quote directly from the recruit(which could end up meaning nothing) I take very little value in what assumptions are made.

Nkemdiche everyone and their mother plus all the experts and so called insiders claimed we led for him and had him in every mock class that year but there was never a quote from him saying we ever led. Many people inferred based on comments from his mother and who his HS coach was but again there was never a quote out there from him.

Had you been an Alabama fan during the Shula years, you would have needed to be put in a isolated, padded room.

Theres no telling, I know we are going after at least 5 DB's and supposedly he is at the top of the board for CB's. I have read hes trending towards UGA as of late

Probably, lol. I know we dont always get who we want but I thought Tyson was a lock at one point and is still being put into mock classes. Im just a little surprised at this one is all

Hopefully Jones is vocal. We need a leader in the class.

Nah got the SDE out of D.C. Hall a few years ago (did he change his name? I feel like he was the one)

Offering here is for sure a contingency. OSU coaches probably told Emory no more visits, and if he took another one they were going to recruit another QB.

May be a play to see what Jones does. I'm sure OSU will be fine

Yeah. No need to panick at this point. It could work out for the best.

Would rather take two QBs next year, little Tua and Tyson.

Whoever gets in this year at QB will just be a wasted scholarship after they transfer in two years.

There’s no guarantee both would sign in 2019. This time last year Jack West was a lock for Alabama. You take a QB every year. They’re going to transfer regardless.
