Bama is going to have to whip them on the field. Kirby has a much better shot at finishing 1 or 2 each year with the talent in his state. Jimbo in Texas will hurt us as well. We'll see.

48 with a 7 and 4 year old!

I was 48 when my youngest was born, helps to keep me on toes and feel like I’m young. My oldest graduated UF almost three years ago and is an engineer in south Fla.

Yeah, I was busy.

Is Deionte Thompson projected to stay at FS, or will he slide to SS while Mckinney plays FS? Both are listed at roughly the same height/weight, but are both sub-200lbs. Just seems weird to me to see a SS in Saban's D that isn't a 210lb+ athletic freak that will knock this piss out of you.

Personally, I love DT14 at FS. He's got great range and hits like a truck. This will be the first time in a while we haven't had a Landon Collins/Mark Barron/RH15 type player back there.

Probably not. If recruiting had shown anything it's that it is very difficult to hold on to players that commit over a year ahead of graduating. Fla and Tn will pull sone recruits from them. Especially if they lose a couple of games by mid season.

Sterling Johnson from Clemson? 6'4 300 and he has 2 more years to play. We'll need guys beyond next season.

Get ready for the stupid comments at school functions, etc. about “is this your Grandpa?”
And I’m a young looking 51 with an 11 year old. Be prepared.

I'm 70 with an 18 year old daughter. It's usually funny when that happens, because I get amused when they try to apologize.

Well thankfully the gray hair is holding off so maybe I won't be the grandpa at school functions like Phil4Bama.

It does keep you on your toes and I think I stay in great shape mostly from chasing those two boys around.

Should have some announcements coming this hour right? Give me Ross, Waddle, Copeland, and Langham and call it a day.

Man throw in JJ Peterson. That Tenn hype has to have wore off by now.
