When will we know where Harris is going for sure? What is the day and time EE's must make it official? I'm getting tired of scanning this post and Twitter for info every hour, when it's obvious he's not going to pick until the very last second. So I might as well stop this and come back whenever that deadline is

Twitter has turned into Michigan fans conceding with rumors of him flying to Birmingham.

I thought someone posted that an aide was waiting to take them (Tua & Harris) to Tampa. It that's the case, they should be on a plane flying into Tuscaloosa either now or sometime today.

Yes someone posted that but if he went back home( which some said yes and others posted he might stay in San Antonio) I doubt he could make it in time. Hope he is en route right now

No, no he doesn't have all the intangibles. He's missing something and I can't quite put my finger on it but the signs are there. You don't show up to practice without your shoulder pads. You don't commit to a school and reaffirm that commitment at every turn for 2 freakin years only to get down to nut-cutting time and begin waffling, saying you're undecided. And hey, I get it. It's a lifetime decision. If you're unsure and need time to think about it, that's your right and deservedly so. But be a man and tell the school you committed to that you are reopening your recruitment.
You don't say you hate all the attention but you let the drama swirl around you all the time when you could shut it down with one sentence. Hell, he can't even decide where he's flying to after an all star game.
And on the field, I didn't see it. All week the reporters were oohing and ahhing over Najee and what he was doing. We get to game time and he pulls a Fournette against Bama. Meanwhile, the guy we let get away is slicing through these all star studs like a hot knife through butter.
Another poster was right, I haven't seen a kid come out of Cali to Bama yet that lived up to the hype and made a contribution worth all the kudos they get. Jimmie Barnes and Bb8 jump to mind.
And seriously, this isn't sour grapes. Far from it. I don't care if he shows up or not. I'm irritated at the way he has handled this situation and by all appearances, played us. I know they are 18 year old kids but that's part of growing up: my parents and grandparents taught me that if you make a commitment you stick with it. And if you don't stick with it, be a man and do the right thing by telling someone that you are breaking your commitment and why. I was made to do that more than once and before I was 18. It's not fun but it's the adult thing to do. I respect anyone who does that, even if they decommit from Bama to go to Auburn. If you do it the right way, best of luck to you.
Maybe Harris shows up in Tuscaloosa this week and all is forgotten. But he, along with some of these other drama whores, rub me the wrong way. And I know this is going to sound arrogant and obnoxious but it's the damn truth: we ain't sucking your dick to go to Bama. You need us worse than we need you. You may be Bo Jackson or Herschel Walker or Joe Namath but you're still an 18 year old kid who needs to get an education, mature, and get better at your craft, no matter how good you are. And Saban is absolutely right: we will win with you or without you. So join us or get beat by us, it's your choice.

Eh. Fullbacks are caveman football. I could get behind a solid Hback.

Only thing I've taken offense to over the last few pages.

But WTF is going on in here?

Sigh, I never thought I would type this 4 letter word but this is arguably the most epic melt I've ever read. It will be ok, the sun will rise and life will go on no matter what Najee does. Alabama might even when a few more titles regardless of where he goes and Najee's is or may become a great man of character, but either way it is not this serious. Invest in a good retirement plan, not the decisions of teenagers.

My God folks, take a breath. He is committed and I have seen little to make me think otherwise. This happens almost every year. Happened with Julio, Richardson and if wasn't happening with Harris it would have been Tua. These "experts" manufacture stories. The higher ranked the recruit the bigger the con job.

Another CB for Jarez Parks. Several CBs for Conliffe to Tennessee. I wonder if that is good news regarding Mathis/Solomon.

I wished but reading posts it seems like we cooled on him and he knew he was a backup plan for us. Can't blame the kid

I'll be happy to finish with Parks, Mathis, and Ray. But if we can snag Solomon too. Just wow.

Saw a crystal ball prediction for Gary Johnson to Texas.
