Not sure why it would be deleted. From what I can remember, all it said was:

1. nothing with him has changed.
2. Pruitt to UGA was an interesting hire to him, but he hasn't made a decision yet whether he will give them an official visit or not.
3. remains committed to Bama, but may delay his "final decision" until after signing day.

The article was posted on UGA's 247 site, and appears to still be up there: LINK

Yea, sounds like he just wants to get to know the new DC before he commits to UGA.

If he flips or staff gets any indication, there is an FSU commit they might try to poach

He would have de-commit tomorrow for Bama to rev up any interest in Jacob Pugh. If he truly waits to after NSD, there's no way they can. You can't backburner someone for that long.

If Pugh leaves FSU, it's likely either to UF or UGA.

@ChadSimmons_: #Alabama head coach Nick Saban expected in La. Thursday to see 5* WR @MalachiDupre. Coaches from #LSU and #UCLA expected as well.

Does anyone feel we real have a shot at Dupre? I feel like we are running a distant 3rd behind LSU and FSU. I know it would be great to have another big time receiver but it just feels like we are beating a dead horse with his recruitment.

I believe Saban is taking his in-home visit with Dupre this week.

UPT (Bama poster on here with connects in La HS sports) has said for a long time he wasn't an LSU "lock" and wouldn't think twice about leaving the state if he liked school A more and his OV patterns also seem to indicate that

I think you are right about being 3rd but it does seem like Bama wants to add one more WR after wanting and losing Rudolph to FSU

FSU very possibly is gonna land Ermon as well

I doubt we have much of a shot but guessing staff feels even a slim chance is worth pursuing. You never get the longshots if you don't try.

i dont ever feel like Saban doesnt have a chance with a recruit. He makes a big impression on kids. Hell, if he could bring Reuben Foster back in the fold while he was sporting a huge AU tat on his arm, i think he will do just fine with a kid who is still undecided.

That example is giving way too much credit to Saban. Trooper's exit is the why more so than Saban's efforts.

And it's official. LDR transferring.

I had an incredible year at Bama, it's sad to say that it will be my last,I'm excited for the next chapter of my life and what it will bring
