If AJ had a stronger arm, I'd be happier. By stronger, I mean having the ability to put zip on the ball and not air it out.
The TD throw to Cooper against UGA took days to come down. Was it accurate? Yes. But it would be nicer if it had been a bullet.
Is it nitpicky? Of course. But being nitpicky is how this team got this good, and there is always room for improvement.

AJ has more than enough arm strength to make it in the NFL.
Having said that, Cornwell's arm is elite. He can fricking sling it.

The only time I ever recall AJ really having to sling one was during the 2011 season at Penn State when he darted one to BMW for a TD.

That's what I would like to see more of. It was a risky throw, yes, but that quickness was nice to see from AJ.

That was probably the only time he has had to really sling it. The arm strength is there. We just don't ask him to display it that often.

Dear lord, man. 30 TDs and 3 INTs. Who cares if he throws a bullet or puts air under it (which makes it easier to catch by the way)?
We have an elite QB. I don't see how anyone can dispute that after this past season.

But I would love a QB who can really sling it with NFL-caliber speed and accuracy.
AJ is a NFL caliber QB. Go back and rewatch the 2011 and 2012 BCSNC games, 2012 SECCG and the drive in Baton Rouge. Talent wise, AJ has all of the tools... he may be a little inconsistent sometimes but hes definitely a baller. Its kinda funny that you critique the throw from AJ to Cooper in the SECCG when that is one of the prettiest passes Ive ever seen.

Thoughts on who our next commit will be?
Roc Thomas?
Roc Thomas?

Him or Marlon Humphrey.

Both
What a start that would be:
Bo Scarborough
Marlon Humphrey
Roc Thomas

Pretty sure Marlon said he was in no hurry to commit and will wait until one of the All American games?

Meh, I'm still at partial chub for our '14 class.
Posted on 2/7/13 at 11:32 am to alabamabuckeye
Hasnt Marlon Humphrey announced a date of when he will be making his commitment?

Yeah, Marlon is going to wait it out unfortunately.

Yep, we'll have to wait 11 months for Marlon. Not necessarily a bad thing as an early commit from him might make it harder to recruit some of the other CBs we're after.

A part of me wants to see Fournette commit to Bama just to watch the LSU melt.
