BP Meyers is in top of 4 inheriting a runner or two and looks like shite. We are down 4-1 and he just K the batter with bases loaded.

two games in a row our starter did not get out of the 4th and our BP is below average for SEC standards for teams that are good. Not sure I see us scoring enough to score 3 more runs as we have had many base runners on and just scored the one. I would be shocked if our BP holds them to 4 runs

Just checked the sec website in-conference baseball stats. Through yesterday, bama ranks 15th in hitting (.237), 12th in pitching (6.20 ERA), and 10th in fielding.

So far no more runs scored by either team and Meyers settled down the last two innings. He still is giving up base runners

The broadcast team did a stat that Bama has one active player in MLB. That was a shock. No surprise that Bama's overall SEC record is where it is for the past 10 years

Torres is just about an automatic (strike) out. Does Bama not have another third baseman?

We did but he's currently playing shortstop for Florida after they tampered him into the portal 2 years ago.

They didn’t tamper him - come on, man. He made it known that he wanted to get back home. That was no secret.

In hindsight, the pitching was overall pretty good. The 3 erros cost us the game. Plus a lot of K's with men in scoring position

Florida just run ruled the same state team that run ruled us last week.

We could potentially find ourselves in a scenario where we head to Gainesville for the last series on the year, where both teams are needing a couple wins to feel good about a regional.

On the bright side, we still have plenty of time to peak and get hot.

With the OOC we had this year , if we don’t get comfortably in a regional, it may be time to hang up the spikes

Win today = 9 wins
Sweep Mizzou = 12
1 against Vandy
1 against UGA
14 wins headed into Gainesville.

Should be plenty.

Need to get hot and stay hot around the UGA series.

Now ain’t the time to be peaking.

We’ll comfortably make a regional. The opportunity to host is getting away from us though.

I don’t see UGA and Vandy on the schedule and think “comfortably” about anything considering the way we’ve looked for three weekends and the stats above.

I mean we are already at 8. Historically, 15 is in, even 14 probably even gets you in. I’ll even give you a loss today. Sweep Missouri and you have three weekends to find four wins. If we can’t win 3 or 4 over three weekends, we don’t deserve to make a regional.

A loss today and we will be at 2 wins over 3 weekends.

What are the stickers on the back of the batters helmet for. Is this something that a lot of schools do?

Aight game time. LSU is throwing a guy with a 5.19 ERA.

Lets see how we can make him look like Nolan frickin Ryan.

0 for 9 with 9 strikeouts is a hell of a start to the series. Rest of team looking pretty good to start.
