Where does Darnell Washington stand? I can't imagine him going to UGA after seeing that offensive performance for their entire season.

Darnell Washington Timeline Events -- Per Hank, on his OV for the LSU game Bama made up most of the ground that UGA gained during summer and early fall while Bama focused on Gilbert. When Saban, Sark and Banks visited Darnell on Dec 3, I think they pushed for him to commit to signing early with UA. I also think Tino's tweet on Dec 4 might've been hinting that they succeeded. Washington talks Tuesday visit from Saban & Co.
Like you indicated, it'd be kinda dumb for him to choose UGA over Bama. Based on what I've read that he's said about his decision criteria; (1) He doesn't sound dumb, and (2) Bama meets his criteria best among the teams he's considering.

I believe the "shine" is starting to rub off of the UGA program. I expect them to start having issues.

I hope that Bama can get him. I've just seen several times where recruits burned us at the last minute and go elsewhere. Henry T. last year being one in particular.

That's why I think Saban & Co. pressed for Washington to commit and sign early -- to determine whether they need to press for Pegues, since he is planing to sign early.
