Mississippi State will be without wide receiver Creed Whittemore for the rest of the season as he had decided to redshirt.

Whittemore, a sophomore from Gainesville, Fla., played in all four games for the Bulldogs this season, registering six receptions for 65 yards.

It is unknown if Whittemore will stay at Mississippi State when the transfer portal opens in December.

I'm old enough to remember when the coach decided who was going to redshirt.

Transferring which isn't what we need.

He's wasn't used enough even though he produced when he got in. Doesn't make sense why he doesn't get more playing time. I don't blame him if he transfers.

same....makes me question Lebby alongside that gem of a DC hire he made.
