LSU coach Brian Kelly spoke with reporters over the weekend about defensive back Javien Toviano and his role in the secondary next season.
Toviano took snaps at cornerback and the star position this year but will be moving to safety going forward, something that coach Kelly feels really good about.
The move will help with Sage Ryan and Major Burns not returning next season.
The former four-star prospect from Arlington, Texas, has played in 25 games over his first two seasons at LSU with three starts.
