The Turnout For Alabama's Spring Game Wasn't Great

College landscape has changed and not just for Alabama, the sport is dying with the way things are setup with the NIL and Portal. Most people are starting to say fuk it, I have better things to do than go watch some spoiled 18 year old who makes more money than me.

Ive been going to A-Day since I was a student 20 years ago. This year, I didnt even know it was going on until the next day. I guess spring games are gone now just like player loyalty.

The Spring game should be a game.

LSU versus Tulane every year would be something that I would attend either in BR or in the Dome (NOT Yulman).

I'm sure some of it was the new format, but I definitely think a lot of it is Alabama fans are not happy with the direction of the program.

It wasnt promoted at all and wasnt a game. They are deemphasizing the spring game like many other schools

Alabama didn’t actually do a spring game. It was basically just an open practice. I don’t expect Larry Leo to take the time to get facts like that straight, though.

CFB is in decline, but especially Bama.

I think it is because 2024 was a game and 2025 was just practice drills.
