We are gonna have a chance to prevent Florida from making the NCAA tourney

While I would love this, I think even if we sweep them, they get a ticket. They are a top 25 RPI and Nolan, and consistently up and down this year

Yeah but they’re sitting at 11 wins in conference right now. That’s insanely low to be in contention. If we sweep or even just take 2/3, I don’t think they have a shot. They’d need to win our series and win 1 in Hoover to make the cut IMO

I understand that, but look at the conference. It’s insane. We legit have 11 of the top 35 teams this year. If we sweep and they blank in SECT, they would be on the outside looking in. Going 1/3 and winning a game in Hoover gets them in, IMO.

I predict FU's RPI will drop significantly this week and we'll get Dawggraded for sweeping them next weekend.

regardless, sweep their Gator asses next weekend and let them worry about winning in Hoover

They would have slim to no chance to make it with less than 14 conference wins. Haven’t even pointed to their biggest issue: they’re 26-25 overall. RPI be damned, if they lose 2/3 against us, they’d be 27-27. Lose an elimination game in Hoover and they would be disqualified from contention.

Dawgs move up to 6th by Baseball America.

We have a good shot at Super Regional host now, just gotta avoid a complete meltdown.

If we can take 2/3 from Florida it should all but lock us in regardless of Hoover

D1 Baseball has us up to 9 this morning, Perfect Game has us at 5

Who could have thought we would be sitting here this time last year?

Cant wait to see what Wes can do with this program with a built out stadium at his disposal. Proof of concept already there in spades

Had me fooled. I figured the bats would be fire, but thought the pitching would be our death knell. Pretty fun season for sure. I thought it was going to be like basketball where we whooped OOC and then got beaten up in conference…especially after the sweep by Kentucky (who wasn’t projected high this season either)

Another weird weather week. Forecast looks ominous for Friday and Saturday. No idea how that all gets managed given that Sunday is kind of off limits conference-wide in advance of Hoover

Thinking we might see whichever of Goldstein or Harris doesn’t start Saturday start us off in Hoover

I hope Condon and Caglainone get thrown to this weekend. It’ll be interesting to see who has the better series.

Dash confirmed Goldstein is not pitching this weekend, Wes planning to save him for Hoover. Probably see Harris/Evans in game 3

Odds that we over take AM in the standings this weekend? They have Arkansas and are one game ahead of us.

Slim. They are playing at home and they also have the head to head.

I can’t imagine them getting swept, which means we would have to sweep.

Florida still has a LOT to play for and who knows what teams are doing with their pitching rotation leading into Tues/Wed start for the SECT

Odds? under 10%
