After the most ridiculous delay in the history of ANY sport, Zeldin strikes out 3/4 to end the game. Dawgs pick up a much needed win 3-2 over MSU. 24 wins now. Huge rubber match tomorrow.

Ok, so after looking at who was out in the 9th, and I also think I saw Logan Jordan in the dugout (he was pinch run for right before it all happened), I think our lineup would look like this if the ejections hold:

C - Collins
1B - Jordan
2B - Murillo
SS- Branch
3B - Condon
LF - Chadwick
CF- Carter
RF- Goldstein
DH - Our best hitting pitcher I guess

It would definitely be better than State’s. I hope everyone can play tomorrow but it would be a huge advantage for us if the suspensions are upheld.

Was driving last night and missed the game. Saw the replay this morning. What in the actual frick

I’m not gonna open a can of worms, but clearly the ump should’ve ejected Long and moved on. I’m hoping the SEC does the right thing and lets everyone but Long play today. If not, any guess on which pitchers might have been ejected? It really does look like everyone wearing a hoodie was still there. Guessing that’s a majority of pitchers right?

ETA: just saw this statement -
“All ejected players will be announced Sunday morning and are suspended for Sunday’s series finale, starting at 2 p.m. ET in Starkville, Miss.”

Still hopeful cooler heads in BHAM will prevail and let everyone but Long play

Two massive errors by our outfielders bring State right back into this.

Our pitchers are playing well enough, but the outfielders today ....

Now 5-4 Georgia.

Condon's error was an effort play, I suppose, but Phelps? Just looked lazy.

I tell you, it almost seemed like we wanted to lose today. We were determined to do it. No matter how sh*tty State played, we could be worse.

And we proved we could.

Hopefully we'll get straightened out for our 8 game home stand coming up.

I know it’s his first year. But when or how long is it is it gonna take to fix this bag of shite pitching? 2 sec series stolen because our pitching sucks cock better yet when is smith gone?

This was one of those “frick this whole team” games. By which I mean… frick this whole team.

Our pitching could have been better, but when our defense gifts the other team five runs, it's not necessarily the fault of pitching. Especially since we know we have to be careful in the field because of our pitching.

Two brain-dead errors by our outfielders today cost us the game.

We have no talent. Hard to do anything with it when these guys just aren’t good and the ones who could be good need time to actually figure their shite out and build confidence. But we don’t have a single arm we can really hide behind right now. Stricklin left us nothing and Wes wasn’t going to lure big arms to a program that doesn’t even have a pitching lab (being buoy this offseason). So we have to watch maybe the best offense we’ve ever had get wasted on bad arms.

What galls me is the shite defense. 3 errors is what lost us this game, not the pitching. You can account for our arms being trash. Alford didn’t do a damn thing in this series and ended up losing us the game. Charlie gets a pass because he’s Charlie. Tre has a bright future but wtf man.

Dawgs with some good, patient, hitting in the bottom of the 5th. The hammer has been dropped and the rout is on. 10-1 Dawgs.
