Old regime didn't even make practice mandatory from what the National news outlets are saying. That's a little different than typical coach speak

When you have a new boss it does help to make a good first impression.

Anyone have thoughts on the M&W game? Mine ...

-Weigman is still hurt, and his accuracy is greatly impaired as a result
-Weigman won't be the QB this fall. He will transfer in the off-season to another team
-the OL is trash-tier, and it isn't going to be better by the fall
-this team will be lucky to get "back" to 8-4 this fall.

You forgot "somehow Foster will start again even though he doesn't practice"

Foster will never play another down for Elko. That is what the new Utah OL was brought in for - to replace Foster. Elko refuses to even discuss Foster.

I would rather eat farts out of a 300 lb stipper’s arse than listen to your stupid fricking takes from our spring game.

Good for you - that doesn’t sound like something I would particularly enjoy. The OL is terrible, and the DL harassed the QB’s all game long. This team isn’t going to be very good. Our OC’s offense depends on a good OL …

I expect Weigman won’t even start because the QB will have to do a ton of running

Our dline is going to look improved this year because we finally have a staff that can develop. With all the talent we have had there last year we didn't get the numbers in the stat lines. We will now

I suspect our oline will improve some too. They certainly can't regress. We have hit the portal and done well

LBer is another area we will looked improved at.

Didn't you predict he'd transfer out after 2022 too?

I expect that to happen this year. He still isn't healthy, and I expect he doesn't start with this OL. He looked timid and hobbled in the spring game. He cannot plant and put force on his throws

The OL is terrible. I saw nothing in the spring game that says it will improve. Did you?

Let’s summarize

- Weigman is Patrick Mahomes 2.0
- he’s wanted to transfer for two years
- our new staff intends to use Patrick Mahomes 2.0 like a running back
- he will transfer for the third time

Our staff isn't going to use Weigman. The problem is that he is still gimpy and the OL cannot protect anyone. The defense should be good.

“the OL cannot protect anyone”

How do you know this? From an April split-line spring training game?

Daddy McCoy is looking for somebody to blame for Baby CDub playing like trash in the M/W game.

Not surprising at all, but another underwhelming draft class produced by Jimbo on the heels of nothing but Top 10 classes and unlimited portal options

2nd Cooper
3rd McKinnley
4th Layden
5th Ainias
