If CFB ever becomes a separate entity with collective bargaining, shared revenue with players, etc...would you support Saban being the commissioner? If not, who would you nominate?

He said in his interview he hopes to bring some change to CFB. Of course im biased but I think Saban would be fantastic in that role.

I think Tommy Tubberville, Chris Peterson or if you go young, Andrew Luck, Matt Leinhart would all be excellent choices

i agree, but he's been go go go for 50 years. he should be forced to leave all things football and be with his family.

i know he wont though. he's built different.

Why does he want that headache?
That might be worse than just coaching
Tv work will be enough and I would much rather chill at my crib in Florida

He’s still running all of the day to day stuff he did before besides actually coaching.

It’s almost like he is now the GM of Alabama Football.

interesting thought...

yes he's definitely on my OG committee .. not sure I'd vote him to be the face of it (personality, age, etc.) but would certainly be in the running.. gonna give some more thought as to who'd be the "Commish" good question, never really considered it before

I think Nick's best role is providing detailed, close supervision over all Alabama football operations.

Im curious who everyone would support. Would everyone unilaterally support someone like Kirk Herbstreit?

If he had a mechanism to enforce and didn't take a single soul from the NCAA into the new organization, he would be an excellent choice.

Holy smokes at the level of ineptitude here. The right answer is: literally no coach, no one you’ve ever heard of, but rather from the sports business or media world.

Hail no. We already have Bammer homers running the SEC office, all we need is $abear trying to rule CFB.
