The traveling fans for any CFB team are probably disproportionately upper middle class.
OSU probably has some money, but "nice" in Ohio is wearing your good cargo shorts to church.

Good question... this is one of the very few teams that could potentially travel better than UA. That said, I expect 50/50.

One of the weirdest things to me was in Miami before the NCG a couple of years ago and seeing female Bama fans wearing dresses while tailgating. To me, that seemed much more weird for a football game than wearing a jersey (I say that as someone who used to wear a replica football jersey to games but haven't since high school). The Midwest and South are just different cultures, I guess.

In all seriousness, Ohio gets a bad rap because the cities, excluding Columbus, are complete dumps, eastern Ohio is a white trash kingdom, the weather is shitty, especially downwind of Lake Erie. But hey, there is some beautiful farmland through the center of the state, and Lake Erie can be kinda ok in the summer I guess?
