Because Texas stayed. When Texas agreed to stay, Baylor agreed to let us go. I thought as Texas’ little bitch you would know that? Doesn’t your master keep you informed?

Am I wrong? Baylor didn’t care about A&M. They simply wanted Texas to stay so the BXII wouldn’t dissolve. They originally threatened suit because the BXII was in danger of dissolving

We haven’t been in a conference with Baylor for years. What are you talking about? You follow your Longhorn masters around like a little puppy dog. At least we went out on our own, even if it didn’t work out

You are the conference destroyer’s bitch. Just a tag along to your burnt orange masters. Do you do everything they ask of you?
Is this the newest thing in aggy mythology canon? Of everything up for vote in the Big 12 (that concerned all teams) Agricultural and Maintenance didn't have a vote that differed from OU. The only thing the University of Texas and OU agree on is the location and time of year our game is played...that's it.

You had to have Baylor's permission to leave the BIG XII. So, you're their bitch.

I don’t want to go to the B1G either. I’d like to see A&M leave the semi-pro rat race. B1G and SEC will pare down and leave the NCAA soon enough.

Not soon enough for me though
So you want Agricultural to drop down to DII where they have "real playoffs" and the kids are there for love of the game and not NIL?

Splendid idea! I'm sure your fellow aggys will back this 100% lol

We had to have Texas politician’s permission to leave the BXII.

Even when Texas agreed to join the BXII originally, A&M still resisted. We didn’t want the BXII. But as a state school there were politics involved as well as basically the survival of Texas Tech and Baylor athletics.

Texas is the big dog, and they forced everyone in line with their way of thinking. They even tried to get us to go to the PAC with them years later when they planned to break up the B12. This is all very well covered in books on the history of the SWC and A&M’s move to the SEC.

No, there will be another D1 league that isn’t part of the new semi-pro league. A&M belongs there.

Leach had it right

You were only taken for two reasons: more SEC exposure in Texas for recruiting reasons, and also the real prize had the deal with ESPN for LHN making us a no-go. It took more than a decade for ESPN to figure out a single school network was never going to be profitable, so making a deal with the SEC to end it early is what brought us in. As for OU? They were free to do what they wanted..either stay in the Big12, join the Big10 or dying Pac, they chose SEC when the invitation came in. Through most of our 100+ years of playing each other we were in different conferences, but with the changing CFB landscape the best way to ensure that game continues is to be in the same conference.

You said Baylor above. Now you have to have everybody's permission to leave the BXII. So, you're everybody's bitch in your home state.

The only thing being destroyed is threads when you make them all about aTm and whine about life not being fair.

This thread had nothing to do about you or your school but you managed to make the most posts in it complaining. Great job!!

Everyone should clear their threads thru you first, so your feelers aren’t hurt

Blue blood doesn’t include Oklahoma. Doesn’t include Penn State. It’s the schools such as Texas, Alabama, USC, tOSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, etc …

But the OU fans want to belong so badly it’s palpable.

A&M isn’t a blue blood. Neither is Oklahoma. Neither are half the teams in the SEC.

It is a thing for much of the A&M fanbase. I would say it is a point of contention, and has split the fans. There is a reason you keep hearing about it in the news.

I have seen one random Twitter post and your posts on here. So I don't keep hearing about it and never from the news.
