Texas has installed a new FIELDTURF field for this upcoming season. This state of the art product by French company FIELDTURF Tarkett is going to revolutionize the game. Some of the benefits of this system include.

-zero pesticides required.
-environmentally friendly, as it doesn’t require water.
-increased playability
-flawless appearance on tv screens
-and most importantly, fewer injuries.

I expect and hope many teams will follow Texas’ lead and have this state of the art surface installed in the new few years.

Natural grass gets torn up and is terrible for knees. I’m ok with innovation. Even in agriculture.

Only a friggin' Texas fan would point to their astro-turf and proudly brag "but it's French".

TU fans need to get with the times when it comes to suggestions for the SEC Schools. Blow me. Nobody cares/wants any input from you on anything.
