that game was fun as hell and irritating at the same time.
Had we made more FT the first half it perhaps is a different story. I thought we had UH's number when that 3 hit to tie; the Coogs looked dejected.
UNTIL
I saw our players celebrating as if they'd already won. Some guy literally slid onto the court from the bench
The team was happy to keep playing but they didn't have the immediate mindset to continue the attack. UH came out in OT and created a little lead that they didn't let go.
Entertaining game. I admittedly don't follow college basketball until MM so I have very little invested. I like the chaos that the tourney normally provides but this year the favorites 1 and 2 seeds are taking care of business.

gotta agree.. the game was definitely entertaining but I felt like both teams messed up pretty bad
Houston
- should have fouled on the inbound pass
Texas A&M
- should have driven right at Shead in OT.. every possession.. he either has to play defense or someone has to help.. easy dish and bucket either way.. or he fouls out..
and that would have been the dagger..

Absolutely. Shouldn’t have taken until 18 left to get him to five fouls. He was Houston’s last scorer on the court.
