Good chance for Arkansas to get over the hump against Bama then imo.

They will have freshmen on the team this year that weren't born the last time Arkansas beat Bama.

Sheridan apparently was the OC and QB coach at Indiana for one season.

How did he do there?

I'm sure he must have been successful.

A lot of it has to do with the roster. I remember Chad Morris lit people's arse up while OC at clemson. Yet as HC at arky well let's just say arky things happened

I hear that less experience is better. Congrats to Bama. They shouldn't miss a beat.

Does LSU plan on having a defense this year? It's year 3 of the great Kelly comeback and so far we haven't seen one.

LOL. What a dumbass. Do you ever get tired of being wrong ?

This is the last season for Mantits, regardless of who is OC. Enjoy.

Would you trade places with Alabama? With their talent and new offensive coordinator?

No. LSU hasn't done anything to improve the defense. Bama should win by 40 now that they got rid of Saban.

Joe Sloan was OC for 2 years at Louisiana Tech (his other play calling experience before being named OC at LSU this year).

YPP Offense Finishes
2020 - #122
2021 - #80

Scoring Offense Finishes
2020 - #78
2021 - #70

FEI Offense
2020 - #116
2021 - #90

Guess he's gonna suck too, right? Is that how this works?

Thankfully I don't think Bama even needed an OC to rush for nearly 300 yards and 6 rushing TD's against that soft as Charmin LSU defense.

So don't worry, Bama will be fine. Can't say the same for the corndogs.

Didn't we already do that in BR a few years ago?

Yes, but that was with those old crappy coaches.

I still remember the steam coming off that scoreboard in death valley. Good times.

Sheridan was so bad he was fired after his one season as OC. Sloan's offense improved, he was hired at a better program, then promoted after the LSU offense finished tops in the country last year. Only delusional gump logic could lead one to make such a comparison or upvote the idiocy.

They were in the top 50 in 2019, FYI. So they cratered in 2020 and barely got better from 2020 in 2021, but far below the year before he was the OC.

Also, he was let go with everyone else on staff as Skip Holtz was fired after 2021.

So lets get this straight

- Coach is OC at talentless school puts poor offense on field (La Tech/Indiana) and is fired/let go with entire coaching staff
- Coach becomes position coach (QB/QB) at big school (LSU/Washington)
- Coach works under OC (Denbrock/Grubb) who gets promotion to better OC job after record breaking season (Notre Dame/Seahawks)
- Coach becomes new OC at big school (LSU/Alabama)

Hmmmm, I dunno, seems like a pretty identical trajectory.
