The hilarious part is that BYU got a big time upgrade on their head coach.
Pope is a weird A&M milkman type dude. Kids with options are going to run away from him. Their only chance at success is to run it like a mid major, but he hasn't shown that sort of coaching ability in all of his years as a head coach.

I would have like to have him just because we need bodies but the fact that Pope even got 1 Mormon to leave BYU is impressive.

They were at BYU for religious reasons. Kentucky is a regular school with girls of lower moral character. This wasn’t a basketball decision
